Hi guys, I have a r33 gtst with a cat back zorst, hks mushroom filter and kyb coilovers.I now have set my self a goal to get myself a 12 second past at calder park in early Janurary on my time off work. I was wondering what mods i would need to do to be able to acheve this goal and keep in mind i am trying to do it on a bit of a budget? Thanks heaps for any advice.
  3. yeah ok cool. i already got exhaust and cooler and was gonna get the power fc now with the turbo. How r u finding the hiflow? is it noticibly lagier?

  5. Hi everyone. Im saved up a bit of cash and want to mak the 33 go that little bit harder. I have recently read here that ppl dont advise running more than about 12 psi on the stock turbo (i currently have the boost set to 10) If i wanted to raise boost levels to say 15-16psi is it better just to hiflow the stock turbo as opposed to buying a new one which seems like the much more expensve alternative. How do ppl rate hiflows?
  6. hi guys, i just bought an auto r33 gtst and my mate told me that the auto 33z have a smaller turbo than a manual 33 is this true? And also i have a few questions ,if anyone could help answer them it would be a great help.... ..How much is it safe to boost my auto r33 to, its mods are a cat back zorst and a front mount intercooler? .. How much power can the stock auto hold before it needs to be strengthend? THANKS any answers and info will be a massive help!!!
  7. hi guys, i have a r33 gtst and have recently put a exhaust and bleed valve on it and now it has a missfire.At the moment i don't have the time to go and get it fixed, but i was just wondering if i was to continue to put my foot down while it has the missfire is this going to stuff up my motor at all.   8. you talking about installing an smic? or fmic? Yes i was talking about a FMIC core getting hooked up to the standed intercooler piping. And also has anyone bought any cooler core off just jap that are salling on this site for $175 and if so are they any good?? and will they be good to hook up to the stock piping??

Hi guys, I own a r33 gtst and it is time for me to put a intercooler on it ....but what i had in mind was, to buy just the intercooler core and get it fitted to the standed intercooler piping..Is their anything wrong with doing this?? And would i be getting the same performance and cooling gains as getting a full cooler piping kit?? Thanks.
  10. Hi guys, I currently have a pod, turbo back zorst, and a bleed valve that is set to 10/11 psi,and i think its time for me to get a intercooler for my R33 gtst.. I have come across the ones from just jap that are sold on this website under (Business Traders) the coolers are $175 for a fmic core (450x300x76mm) are these any good or should i save my money and get a better branded one?? Also i was wondering if any of you guys have used your standed intercooler pipeing with a front mounted core and if so how is it going for you? and is their any power delivery problems with doing this? coz i can't see why their would be, due to the fact that the stock pipeing being would have been built well by the engeneers at nissan ..... i dont know, that is my theory anyway. lol. thanx heaps
  11. Guys i turned down the boost last night to 12psi...is that even a bit much 4 every day driving considering i still have the stock cooler or is the stocky capable of running 12psi day in day out???? THANX 4 UR INPUT GUYS Dave

  13. So is that just a load of crap that your ecu will cut out??......All this talk of turbos blowing makes me thinnk i should turn down the boost abit.. lol IS 12psi with no cooler OK??

Guys and Girls, i have a 1995 r33 gtst with a turbo back zorst, k&n pod and a bleed valve that was set to 10 psi till last night when i draged my mate in his 33 same mods apart from the fact that he is running 14 psi. He was just at my house before and i got him to turn up my boost to 14psi and the car seems to be going so much harder.....but i have heard and read that with the mods that i have any boost over 10 or 11 psi would not only stuff up my turbo but also give me a down turn in performance due to the stock ecu cutting out. is this true ? if so how come my car seems to be going so much harder on 14 psi ??? and also has anyone with thet same mods as me (turbo back zorst, k&n pod and a bleed valve ) ever run 14 or mor psi and how did it go 4 u.   17. Hi peoplez, i just installed a used GFB bleed valve in my R33 GTST and i was wanting to turn the boost up. Being used i dont have any instructions or box (got it 4 free of a mate) and now i cant turn up the boost.... When new do they come with a little tool or are you ment to just use a allan key. THANX

I was thinking about going to the drags tonight for a bit of fun and was wondering if buying an octane booster to drop into the petrol tank would give me any sort of power gain. i have a previous best time of 13.8 with the same mods as i have now, would half a second off be possible, or would the difference be minute? thanks!

  21. its totally stock and it seems like it misses more than lag...at low revs its pretty bad
  22. i currently own a 1999 wrx evo 3 club spec totally stock.I bought the car about 2 weeks ago and it seems that the engine is choking at low revs,also i get a rotten egg smell when i stretch the gears.I took it back to the dealer about the problem and they changed the air flow meter but it still does it.If anyone could tell me what this problem is i'd really appreciate it.
  23. MY06 WRX STI has 206kw @ 5600rpm and 392Nm of torque @ 4000 rpm...ive been told that the STI's are very good value for money and wonderful track cars. The R32 GT-R GODZILLA has 206kw @ 6800rpm and 360 Nm of torque @ 4400rpm Just wanted to see what people think...thanks
