Maroon 1995 Nissan skyline -5 speed manual -power steer -A/C / Climate control -power windows and mirrors -ABS brakes -Driver and passenger air bags -CD Player / MP3 / 12 stacker -75,000kms (Pretty sure they are genuine judging by the condition of the interier Extras / Mods -3 inch turbo Back exhaust (6 months old) -GCG high flow turbo charger (new) -Front mounted intercooler (6 months old) -Pioneer stereo system $3000 -Boost gauge and Air fuel ration gauge in pillar (new) -Pivot super baby turbo timer (new) -Blitz air filter (new) -Heavy duty GTR clutch (near new and still nice to drive) History Bought the car about 6 months ago and fitted the exhaust and front mount and then about 3 months ago i blew the turbo (on standard boost) and a peice of the impellar got caught in a valve so the motor was stripped down and the head was serviced and all bearings in the bottom end replaced. The timing belt was also replaced at this time. I have since moved to the central coast (NSW) and have to drive to sydney everyday for work so putting that many KMs on it is not practical for me and that is the only reson for selling. I'm pretty sure it's the first of the SII because it has all of the SII features. The only odd thing i can notice is the grill. Sorry if i'm wrong but please let me know. I'm asking $16500 no offers. If your interested please call 0416 263 158 or PM me

Got an r33 that i may be interested in swapping for the ute. Give me a call on 0416 263 158 if you like it. Details are 1995 (change over period to SII with all SII fetures) front mounted intercooler, high flow turbo, 72,000kms, turbo timer, boost and air fuel ratio gauges on the pillar, new GTR heavy duty clutch, new timing belt, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, 12 months rego, $2500 pioneer stereo ( MP3 & 12 stacker). All mods only 3 months old and the motor was also pulled down and freshened up with all new bearings at that time. Reason for selling is i have just bought a house and i have to travel a long way to work and don't want to rack up too many kms on the skyline. I have $18,000 on it and i'm in Quakers Hill sydney (moving to the central coast this weekend). thanks Gary

Hey Guys, After spending the best part of 2 months finding the right R33 to purchase and then 6 months and alot of $$$ making it right my wife to be has found a house and it has to go. The details are 12th month 95 maroon R33 gts-t, 72,500kms, excelent condition, ABS, power windows, power steering, AC, climate control, drivers and passenger air bag and all of the goodies of a SII. Modifications are all around 3 months and 4000kms old 3 inch turbo back exhaust, GCG high flow turbo, Front mounted intercooler, air filter, pivot turbo timer, Boost and air fuel ratio gauges in a pillar, $2500 pioneer CD/MP3 stereo ( the only thing that is older than 3 months). All mods done at once when the turbo blew and a piece of the compressor wheel made its way into a valve. While the motor was down we also replaced the big end and main bearings as well as a head service and new valves. The VRS kit used was genuine nissan as were all the bearings. The timing belt was also replaced at the time. All up this car has had around $8000 spent on it over the past 3 months and someone will get a great deal as i did everything properly with the intention of keeping the car. I am after $18,000 and i am in quakers hill (moving to the central coast soon and comuting to sydney so this car is no longer practical) Forgot to mention the heavy duty GTR clutch i put in at the same time. Car now has 12 months rego on it and i also forgot the alarm and imobiliser( also new). If interested contact Gary on 0416 263 158

I was running pretty much standard boost, i mean i had done the mod on the standard boost controller to run the high setting right through the rev range so with the exhaust freeing it up i was getting about 10-12 psi. Both sides of the turbo let go, there was nothing but a shaft left. I assume the compressor side let go and peices of that destroyed the exhaust side. Can anyone tell me what cams to get, where i'll get the best price and how much they will cost me. Remember standard ecu! Thanx guys Looking forward to seeing the results of a turbo upgrade and cams

Ceramic wheel is only on exhaust side dude. nylon wheel on the compressor side. Only one cylinder has dropped compression and it is a valve, so i am hoping to get away with a top end rebuild. I have the head off and the bores look really good (no lips or scratches).

Hey guys, was driving along a couple of weeks agoin my R33 minding my own business when i heard a nasty noise and lost boost. A little investigation revealed a blown turbo. Although i was a bit upset with having my car off the road i seen this as an opportunity to upgrade. I took it to GCG and had them rebuild it and high flow it. When we installed it again and started the motor one of the cylinders were missing and the motor was making an even more horrible noise. A compression test revealed thet a peice of turbo has damaged on of the valves. My question is, in the interest of turning another negative into a positive i was thinking of doing some head work and cams and i was wondering who would be able to do a port and polish for me in western sydney and how much it would cost and what cams are suitable to use with a standard ecu. I currently have 3" exhaust FMIC GCG highflow Thanx guys

Location- Quakers Hill (Sydneys west) Item Condition- Brand new still in the box Reason For selling- Blew a turbo and dropped a valve in my R33 so i need the cash. Price- $450 firm Contact Details- Gary 0416 263 158

With the justjap intercooler did you notice a loud noise while on boost. I am worried that the noise is indicating a lack of flow. I am also a little nervous that i have done something wrong (ie connected the vacume line to the wrong place).

:whatsthat :whatsthat :whatsthat :whatsthat :whatsthat Could someone point me in the right direction on where i could find some instructions on installing a FMIC kit on an R33.

Had a turbo smart type II in my WRX (before i saw the light) and if nothing else the launch switch rates high in the cool department. Seriously though it was always accurate enough that it wasn't really noticable. Good luck wich ever way you go

Hi guys, At some point in thenear future i want to get the standard turbo off my SII GTS-T hi-flowed and get rid of the ceramic impeller. Has anyone had this done? How much does it cost? How has your performance increased? Where is the best place to do it? Is there an aftermarket turbo that does as good or better job for similar money? Thanks gary

Not sure how good the deal is (everything else seems really well priced) but try www.justjap.com

I owned a MY98 for 2 years and have just purchased a stock SII R33 and as much as it hurts me to say it, the WRX was much more impressive when it comes to performance. However thats probably the only more impressive thing about the WRX, what is not impressive is the drivetrain, they should have made it out of glass it would have been stronger. I guess what i am trying to say is while your mates WRX is in the shop with the gearbox or clutch out (depends on what week it is) you will be thinking what a great decision you have made. Gary

How many Kms has your R33 travelled?
Gaz81 replied to dd4321's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
62000kms -
Hi guys, After a long search for the right one i finally purchased a SII GTS-T. It is in perfect condition except for 1 thing, the head lights are really faded and a little yellow looking and it detracts from the look of the whole car. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to deal with this problem. ie if i can just replace the lenses or do the whole headlights need to be replaced, or could maybe a good cut back polish would rectify the problem. I haven't picked up the car yet so i haven't tried anything yet. Thanks in advance Gary
