i know that break pads squell when they are worn but i also got told theres a litlle clip that pertrudes as well to make a noise to let ya know. bearings cost heaps hey?

hey guys, here is my problem, its an r33gtst first of all. theres a like ticking noise coming from my front wheels, when im driving you cant always hear it but when there is like a fence next to the road the sound bounces back and you can hear it. would it be the break pads? as apparently they make a noise when you need to change them??? second is when i go over a sewer cap or something at normal speed i.e 60kmph it feels like the rear slides a bit??? anyone have ideas??? hope these arent bad problems
