hang on, are we talking about head flow or capacity or turbo size or fuel or 4wd or rwd? titan runs their equivlient of sport rwd if you read the NHRA sport compact rule book, their rules are the same as the ones we play by, as our rule book is a direct copy of theirs. so is it an even footing, maybe not but they have the same opporunities within the rules. theo runs the same turbo as the titan supra a t88 38gk the supra doesnt run a Gt55, their pro rwd scion and celica run Gt55 according to the titan website

cant believe ir just read 13 pages of all this 1.4 sixty foot and 129 mph and only a 10.8 you need to changes gears faster that thing will go 10.1 with ease. or get an auto. good work i like it. our cars would be a good match up.

so on the topic of head flow, take the fastest full trim GTR skyline in the world on radials, would that be keir wilson with an 8.89 at 160 mph, now take the fastest full trim supra in the world on radials, TITAN with a 7.94 at 184MPH, gee there head flow must be huge. check out that MPH. hmm yes chris i believe your right, over 2400cc in the drag radial class of HPI is carlos, with a 10.04 at 150 mph with a 2.23 60 foot, that MPH certainly shows the head flow against the next placed car which is a nissan GTST of ryan quinn with a 10.12 at 136mph with a 1.6 sixty foot. once carlos gets his car off the line i believe it will show how good the head flow on that 2j is when it runs an 8 on radials, even with the subwoofers still in the back of the car. note this is not a shot at kier or ryan, there cars are amazing machines and have accomplished awesome results.

this thread would have to be the stupidest f**king thread on any car forum i have ever seen. it truely shows some peoples maturity level. sydney kid, you never cease to amaze me with the shit that comes out of your brain and onto this forum. MPH is a direct result of power, there are other measures but MPH is a bloody good measurable realisitc measure, circuit times and ets aren't. there was a thread 6 months ago on rb 25's versus 1j's, there was plenty of shit in that thread maybe you girls can continue your arguements in there. fact remains, its a known fact toyota engines JZ series will take far more power for far longer periods of time than RB engines. that is fact. one of the main reason i built my car was to go race GTST's and flog there arse cause i always percieved that nissan owners thought they were above the rest and a bunch of arrogant c**ts. my little internally stock 194000k engine has put many big dollar full house nissan engines to shame on both the dyno, drag strip and engine longevity table. but guess what, along the way i have met a whole heap of great guys such as BU5TER, 2RISMO, TWOOGLE, etc that have changed my views on skyline owners, but its people like you SK that make all other skyline haters hate skyline owners. many toyota guys get on this forum as there are far more drag racing guys here than on our equivilent toyota forum. fitz, great info, appreciate you putting it up. i apologise ahead of time if my comments have offended anyone. Shane.

it made 415 kw on hills dyno, i sent him a message back saying take 30% off and the figure will be about right and the MPH backs that up some what. all the cars i have heard about coming of hills dyno with these big figures have not been able to replicate it elsewhere or on the track with MPH. Glens, happy with the result and feels there is more there with more driving and playing with tyre pressures. i think theres a 10.6 in the car when fully sorted. -

a buddy of mine from newcastle went to wsid last night to run his r32 gtr, only having done 4 passes on the track in this car he managed a 10.8et at 123 mph. first pass of the night was a 10.9 at 124 he said it wheel spun bad of the line and sixty footed in the high 1.6 region. nest pass just did a launch and cruised through next pass launched well and decided to stay into it and run the 10.8 with a high 1.5 sixty foot. i am not sure of the spec of the car, as speaking skyline is like trying to speak spanish for me. it has low mount turbos of some description, all factory cooler plumbing, its a built engine standard gearbox good clutch and he used TWOOGLEs tyres for last night. he has been booted till he gets all the safety gear. so it will be a while till the time improves. i think there is more left in it as he reports only 21 psi was used. not sure on fuel type but i know theres no gas yet. shane

i heard that the australian horse racing jockey that was banned in hong kong for the betting scandal is being contracted to drive it to get the weight down to run that elusive 8 sec pass. seriously, does this forum need to degenerate to the lows like ausrotary where you have 15 pages of hearsay about a car. wait for jamboree, watch theos car run and see what happens instead of carryingon with hearsay bullshit for the next 3 months.

dont think to many gtr will be using front runners some how. i call a GTR a GTR 3500 pounds, maybe theos but i dont think marks or pauls are that heavy. as for kier's GTR i havent really been that close to see the extent of his weight reduction, i would say kier would have done a fair bit of weight reduction but his sons "street GTR" is full weight i believe. in street trim add another 180 kilos of trim and bits and pieces to my lard arse.
-
so for my big heavy bitch at 3440 pounds that 860 pounds per corner they would not support my lard arse.
-
i was going to go to front runners for weight and better rolling than wide radials, but ANDRA said cant run ply fronts with radial backs have to run cheese cutter radials up front with radial rears. any way,i have put the idea on the back burner for a while.
-
i think youll find its still street registered and driven on the street. it used to run mid eights on street tyres.
-
i havent looked at the link yet, but it would be john shepards super quick mitsu talon. it used to run in NHRA sport compact class PRO STREET against the titan supra. but he decided to take it up a notch and is running slicks now and a bit of weight reduction. its still a manual box and he uses the clutch to change gears unlike some people here in australia oh forgot to add, he seems to now run only in puerto rico, they mainly just match race. if your into drag racing check out agracingphoto website, or the hardcore pr site, theres heaps of awesome stuff on there.

yes and also suffered from being eaten up by a litlle old grandpa car. in mr best doctor evil laugh boohahahahaha boohahahahahaha
-
i woudl sugest the convertor has been part of the problem and also in the last 4 months the bigger turbo
-
yea thats the idea, i spoke to some suspension people about trying it, but was basically told they didnt want to aid in my hurting myself, there view on it was too dangerous, my car has fortunately worked out to sixty foot quite well so the idea is now long gone.
-
the subzero cr was not tubbed, it still ran the factory rear end, then used welded up shock absorbers to keep the camber flat and used the sof side wall of the slick tyre as the suspension. it was well documented inthe zoom article.
-
just finished reading DRAGSTER, there is an interview with the new SC director, its in print that ray box is going to be running a rival championship and that ANDRA hopes to build a bride and have one national series. so that means ANDRA rules wont apply at jambo based on that print. wonder what the rival rule book will have about S/RWD
-
mmm, doesnt work for me.
-
any one who tinks last years champioship wasnt a success should give them selves an upper cut and go whinge with the guys on ausrotary whinging about ozmod. do we really need another thread about this, if so start your own, i asked who was going to jamboree, not whats your opinion on SC. open your eyes bitches.

yeah true

definatley interested, though i have to get my gearbox out and off to south australia to find out what my problem is prior to jamboree, so at this stage i wouldnt be ready until august i would guess.
