i'm after some advice on rear tyres, i've currently got 18x8 with 235/40 all around. will i be able to fit 255 or 265 width tyres my rims? will i have to get a 35 profile? what brand tyres do you recommend in the $250-$400 (per tyre) price range? thanks

how hard is it to install the s-afc2 in an r33? i'll be getting one in a couple of days, and i've been quoted around $100-$200 for installation (without tuning). does that seem a little expensive? i've had a look at the wiring diagram, and its not making much sense to me, can anybody provide pics or step-by-step instructions? alternatively, i'd be happy to give somebody a carton of beer or something to someone who wouldn't mind doing it for me thanks.

reason for sale?

i bought a vl turbo water pump from supercheap auto, cost about $70 iirc. i got that put in along with the other belts replaced (100k service), paid $280 in labour.

if it hasn't been sold yet, i'm definitely interested.

is 10psi safe to run everyday with just a full 3" exhaust?

i'm planning on buying a new fuel pump next week, just wondering what other people have bought and how much you paid for it? i've been quoted $290 for a new walbro kit suitable to 500hp and around the same price for a 2nd hand gtr fuel pump. thanks!

what brand exhaust did you buy?

very true... each to their own. however, i will reserve the right to laugh at people who have 'performance stickers' on their riced up lancers, civics, corollas etc.

i recently purchased a 3" hi flow cat + cat back exhaust with a resonator. however, the noise in-cabin is starting to annoy me. does anyone have any ideas how to quieten it down? will sound dampening material in the boot help? will a 3" dump/front pipe make any difference to the exhaust note? thanks

i decided to go with a genuine rb25det timing belt (didn't bother checking if the rb30 one fit), it set me back $88

what would be the average price for old tinting removed and new tinting applied?

i don't know if this will help, but i had trouble starting my r33 when it was cold (low revs, i had to hit the accelerator once quickly to stop it from stalling, then it'd be fine), but after i got all my belts changed a few days ago i haven't had that problem since.

how much boost were you running on that dyno run?

how many kms has the car done?

just a quick question, which parts are interchangable between the vl turbo and the rb25det? i'm up for the 100k service, and i've established that i can use a vl water pump, but what about the other belts? thanks.
