C210 Vs 240k Carpet - Is It The Same?
hot_c210 replied to coupe72001's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
petrol is another one that dilutes chewing gum but is probably not so good for the carpet I was getting a bit worried about the idea of removing the previous owners kids from the carpet... -

Thanks man thats really encouraging to hear. I wondered about that little "S" but cant seem to find any detail of why it would be there She standard round lights are worth $250AU each so i'd imagine these would be worth $300AU each new. they are second hand but cleaned up

Ok on my quest to find tail-lights i stopped in at a nissan dealer in croydon vic. and met a guy called clayton angel. he goes a bit out of his way (even tho he is paid to) to hunt down new old stock for old cars. his position is in the parts division. i talked to him today about finding tail-lights and bumper ends. bumper ends for a c210/c211 are $170 each new. for the tail-lights i need to know the vin no. of a car that originally came off so i he can send back to japan requesting the correct part no. and then order the parts. as someone else said previously they're around $250 each and by the looks of things i think that sounds about right. This is his work contact details for anyone who is hunting Most early nissan and datsun parts. Clayton Angel Ph: 9725 5555 [email protected] www.yarravalleygroup.com.au the email is to a toyota dealer but they sell toyota nissan and daihatsu. Happy hunting -
mine survived all the way to perth without a problem. i think yours needs a re-gas. or check the condenser for holes. mine ended up that way. slow leak in the condenser.

doing a gas conversoin is not too bad as my dad found out but he had it on dual fuel. whats needed is a landi converter. theyre the best for that size engine. also u'll need some high temperature spark leads. (performance ones work the best) and high performance spark plugs. (thats if u want to get as much out of the engine) also ur distributor will need to be advanced about 9 degrees from the factory position and a gas research carbie will need to be sourced. (it is actually possible to convert a 38 weber it costs around $150. it depends on where u go) and a modified cylinder head (so hardened valve seats etc) but otherwise good luck with the conversion mastadd. and the first month is where u have all the teething problems. P.s. PM me if u want to see photos of my gas conversion. (dual fuel)
