Hi mate, Just had the exact same problems, fix the leaks first before u bleed its prolly just some loose clamps, thats the exact hoses that were lose on my, I put new hose clamps on tightened them up nicely and bled the system. Now no more leaks at all and no squeal.

Something a lil different that the guy in the shop laughed at when I suggested it. I wanted to be able to quickly mount it anywhere didn't mind about the cables dangling as I wanted to quickly remove it when I got out the car to the glovebox. I was originally going to use the velcro everyone has suggested but I had another idea. I wanted something with a ball joint so u could swivel it in any direction. I ended up getting a suction rear view mirror, not a large one but one that was about the size of my blitz sbc id3 and power meter controllers. I cut it to size, very lil had to be cut off depends which one u buy and stuck the displays on with the usual high bond double sided sticky tape. I then position it whereever I like, usually on my R33 its just to the right and down from my clock it suctions their wickedly, has never fallen off and is quick to put up and down again. I also at times stick it to the windscreen. For a total cost of $10 its a lot cheaper than the apexi stands which can only swivel one way a lil limited for my liking. Everyone that sees it cannot believe it only cost me $10 cos it looks so good and easy to do! Well hope this gives u some ideas!

Yeah but its exactly half the in car speedo. Could it be something to do with being de speedlimited? Is there something that halves the speed signal before the ecu just guessing but does such a thing exist?? Thanks for your help I will attempt calibration but figured if it was that out it could be something else. Thanks

Hi I have just finished connecting my Blitz SBC and Power Meter, all works great except the power meter is incorrectly reading speed, its exactly half the real speedometer speed? Anyone know how to fix this? Anyone else have this problem with theirs? Its installed in an R33 GTS-T. Thanks all help would be appreciated Nigel

Hi everyone, I just bought a SBC ID3 and am about to attempt installing myself into my R33. Just wondering if anyone here has installed their SBC ID3 themselves or know the best position to install the solenoid. It says to install within three feet of the turbo but then says the shorter the hoses the better. What is the optimum position for the solenoid?? Was thinking of mounting on the side of the strut tower but would that be too close from a heat point of view?Is it safe to drill holes in the strut tower to mount? Also where did u all connect your vacuum lines? I have a boost gauge in the car so is it ok just to tee into that hose? I want the best performance from my EBC so would it be better to do it another way? Wheres the best place to mount the Control Unit?? I figure somewhere close to the vacuum hose? Would it be good to have it right next to where I connect the vacuum hose so I could have only a couple of inches of hose or is this too little? How do u mount it literally with the double sided tape included?? Any help or tips for installing would also be appreciated. I want to install for performance but any tips for hiding parts etc would also be great. I suppose the solenoid has to be in the open. Thanks everyone all replies will be greatly appreciated.
