I Just Installed My 2 Way Diff In R33
nigelswazi replied to geraus's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Did you but a 2 way diff centre in your old housing or a complete housing with 2 way centre in your car? If you put a new housing it it could be a taller ratio which would decrease acceleration a little -
So you ended up getting the GT3076R then? Did you drive a car with one before making that choice?

Depends what you use the car for really. If its purely a streeter and you are chasing a good increase in top end power with a real punchy midrange then you don't want to go too big. A lot of people are going for the GT3076R's and such sized turbos but on a car that sees mainly the street you would be a little disappointed running one well at least I know I was a little too laggy for my liking. I have now settled for an Apexi AX53B70 Turbo Kit which I personally feel is one of the best for a streeter but they are becoming hard to find. Something like a HKS GT2835PRO Kit is an awesome compromise between lag and awesome midrange power. Hks Twin Power To Suit Rb25 Series 1 Motors?
nigelswazi posted a topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Well I have been looking at fitting a HKS Twin Power Module to my RB25DET Series 1 motor for a while. Now when it came to purchasing a unit I was told I need DL-II as I have an RB25 but the problem is the DL-II to suit RB25 only suit Series 2 motors. My question is what model do you use for a RB25DET Series 1 motor? The RB20 RB25 S1 and RB26 have the same coilpacks but I believe different ignitors so would a DL-I work? Looking to here from someone in the know who can help me solve the problem of which model to use im hoping someone on here has fitted one of these units to a Series 1 RB25 -
Just got asked in a PM if these have the brackets at the front for ABS models. They do have the brackets sorry I forgot to put them and the spanners in the pics but they are included. They go where there is the slight mark from the bracket being fitted just above the Greddy Stickers on the front ones (the shorter ones) from where the bracket goes.

R33 Gtr Brembo Brakes Complete Inc Pads

Hi Chris, How much room do you currently have between the brakes you have now and the wheel? If you have an inch you should be fine if you have less it will be a tight squeeze and may require you to use a thin spacer for clearance. As for fitment you will need to see what size bolt your calipers are held on with as I have seen Stageas with both the more common 12mm bolt size as found on 300ZX, R32 GTS-T, R33 GTS-T or it will be the 14mm bolt size as found on R34 GT-T, R33 GTR, R34GTR etc. If you have 14mm you are laughing as it will be a straight bolt on with only wheel clearance being an issue. If you have the 12mm bolt size you will have to drill out the two 12mm diameter holes you have on each front stud axel to 14mm diameter and it will fit. If you go to R33 GTR Brakes at the front you will need to use 17" wheels if you get defected so R34 GT-T stockies would be best I have a set you get borrow with new tread if you ever need them just give me a sms or call. -
Well I want to buy a reasonably rare small part off Yahoo Auctions Japan as I am finally sick of looking locally as no one ever has one. I have looked at Import Monster and couple of other services but who is the cheapest and most efficient service to use? I have found the item I want at a price im prepared to pay but with Import Monster you pay them 20% but then GST on top! Is there a service like Import Monster that doesn't charge you 10% GST on top of all the costs as its a small item so it will be coming by EMS? Thanks in advance for replies
