Hey guys, Im looking at buying a car from interstate, either VIC, NSW or QLD at this stage, but I have a question some of you might be able to help me with. If I buy a car that has interstate registration, and go to re-register it in South Australia, does it need to go through Regency, or does it just need to undergo a quick chassis/engine number check. I have check at my local transport customer service centre, and they lady just gave me a form, told me to fill it out with the purchased vehicle's information, then take the vehicle to my local police station, where they will verify that the vin number etc is all ok and pay $44 and they will swap the rego over to SA. She said it was not a roadworthiness inspection. This would be good as the car will probably be a little bit modified and I dont want the hassle of going through Regency with my new pride and joy. But I have also heard that EVERY single car being rego'ed in SA needs to undergo a regency inspection. I cant see how this would be the case as there must be loads of cars coming in, but if a regency inspection is required, then I'll probably can the idea of going interstate and driving it back. If someone has been through the process and/or could shed some light on the matter, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much, Ben

Was just curious to see if theres any people on here that ride dirt bikes by any chance? If you do, what do you ride and where abouts mainly? personally i just traded my 03 Honda CR125 in on a 2006 crf450x so i can ride on the roads as i was running out of places to ride my CR. love it to bits! mainly into freestyle and enduro/trails. catchyas later, ben

yeah i picked up a copy last saturday and im pretty happy with it. unfortunately i find it pretty hard to pop monos on anything other than the sportsbikes like the yzf600s and upwards. you should be able to get pretty much any of them on the back wheel...drz400s and the like should do them easy. but oh well, im just biased being an offroad rider:p unfortunately there doesnt seem to be any wheelspin or lockups either which takes away from riding motard bikes which are usually sliding into corners under brakes and whatnot. graphics look wild tho, and the gameplay is pretty easy to get the hang of. i heard bikes will be included in GT5 tho, so that should be pretty awesome whenever it comes out on ps3!

yeah ill be heading out there to support my mate FAST EDDIE! unfortunately he'll probably be even more underpowered than last DA comp, running stock boost on the little supercharged sprinter, but he'll be givin it a go! hope to see some nice 'lines out there fellas

Hey guys, havent been on here for a little while and just came on to find out about this...absolutely terrible news. I saw a really brief bit on the news about it while doing something and just saw that it was a silver 33...i didnt know the date of the cruise so it didnt even cross my mind about it. But ive just been reading everyones accounts and would just like to offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of all those involved...drew, the occupants of the festivas as well as all the people on the cruise who witnessed it. This is something that no one deserves to go through. Im still feeling the effects of loosing a mate to a single car accident on the 6th of this month and know how hard it must be for those involved in this tragic incident. Thankfully there werent any more vehicles involved, given that it was on a cruise with more cars close by. A big pat on the back goes to the guys who assisted and everyone for their support. Take care everyone, and pass on my best wishes to drew who i hope is recovering super quick. Ben

sweet cruise guys, my mate (skyrine dan) and me were the ones that were on the side of the road and met up when you lot went past us just before gumeracha. got some decent pics of everyones cars at the ango oval so i might put them up tmoz (bloody dialup takes forever) we stayed back and watched everyone leave the train park at nuri, cos we thought everyone was stopping in tanunda and then heading back on gomersal road, but we ended up loosing the group so just went home. which way did everyone actually go? im guessing the BV highway to lyndoch? oh well anyway, good to see some fine looking rides out there and cant wait for the next cruise! catchyas, benno

id definitely be up for a cruise in the barossa. not exactly far for me to go, but should be sweet! ill see if i can get my mate dan to get his 33 out of the shed as well and we'll both tag along. ive never really been on a cruise before so should be pretty interesting and look forward to meeting some people off here and checking out their cars. catchyas, ben

last thursday saw a white 33 with a nice kit driving around the regency park/south road area, saw it again a couple hours later turnin onto grand junction rd, then i reckon it was the same one again that i saw turning out of a side road on the road that leads past edinburgh airforce base. looked sweet anyway. then saw a nice dark blue 33 at semaphore traffic lights on tuesday.

haha hey ADM, yeah just looked fast, prob cos i drive so slow! but nah, was tempted to try follow ya but that was the first time id travelled in that direction on that road before so not really familiar with it! was good fun anyway! have a good one man and hope to catchya round on the road soon, ben

bit late, but late last thursday arvo about 5.30, had a black r32 gtr blitz it hard past me when i was heading into the hills around lenswood or somewhere like that. i was stuck behind 2 other cars and wasnt game enough to pass, but the gtr driver was a madman and passed all 3 cars on like tight blind corners! was even able to give me a honk as he went past!!! sounded wild and definitely had some serious balls! if you're on here dude, i was the one in the blue/green 33 gtst driving like a grandma lol! also passed a nice white r33 on the sturt highway in between sheaoak log and gawler on xmas day, gave him a wave, dunno if he saw tho...

yeah when i was turning around on anzac highway around 1-130ish i ended up following 5 or so nice r33s through town. i think they'd taken off from that red emblem cruise by the sounds of it. had fun cruisin with em tho even if i just happened to tag along! after that just stopped at west tce shell station then cruised back up nth with my mates in a xr6t ute and vl turbo and another fella in a schmick as candy red 4 door 33. plates were vambex or somethin like that.

hey guys, sucks to hear bout what happened to your car vange, there must be something about petrol stations, earlier this year when i still had my old falcon, top condition, i rocked up at a petrol station in gawler behind a little white barina. was just getting my wallet and for some reason happened to watch the old lady get in her barina and to my horror watched her reversing lights come on. my car had been there since before she even walked out the shop and somehow she still forgot it was there (although it was around twice the size of her barina and bright red!) i couldnt believe it when she started coming back slowly and i got on the horn a fraction of a second before she hit my car. she was about to drive off, but i shouted out and went to run after her so she stopped haha! thankfully the barina had plastic bumpers and didnt even scratch the falcs! but yeah, impatient and bad drivers piss me off hardcore! catchyas, beno p.s. hey Deluxe, where abouts is Chips Away and would you happen to have their number handy? im keen to get rid of a few small highway chips on the front bar of my 33. would you recommend them if i wanted a really good job? cheers!

hey everyone, just thought i'd whack up a few pics i took when me and a couple of mates went on a bit of a cruise a few weeks back, starting in gawler, heading into the hills, through lobethal to mount lofty, then back down through adelaide to glenelg, then back to gawler via port adelaide. the weather was crap but it was still good to get out and go for a decent spin. the orange BA xr6 turbo is my mate's and has around 330rwkw and 19inch rims, the blue AU III xr6 is his brother's and the blue green r33 is my pride and joy. the pics arent the best as i just took them when we stopped every now and then and i had to reduce them in size a heap. anyway, hope yas all like em, take it easy, ben pic 1:stopped in lobethal pic 2: still stopped in lobethal pic 3: took this one out the window on the way to adelaide...thought it was pretty cool pic 4: stopped at the skatepark at west beach
