so this is the same one that wazz has in his car (with the perfect reception)? if so it must have to be the 2 antennas causing the sh$t reception. this dual antenna setup has never caused this problem before in my previous r32 and r33,so whats the deal? -

Change Fuel Pump For Compliance?
cookie--monster replied to Hill Billy's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Its just another wank of a job doatars have stipulated. If the evidence has been updated to include this now,its a joke.If it was there from the start then i suspect 99% of compliance centres wouldnt have bothered-thay cut costs wherever they can. Tell them where to go,and get it done somewhere else.Thats the risk importing yourself-you havent the 'customer loyalty' that an importer would receive due to the larger volume of work they would bring.simple as that. -

cookie--monster replied to WazR32GTSt's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)

Reversing Camera - Genuine!
cookie--monster replied to Chris Rogers's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
i have the camera with a button to pop the screen, its ok,but has a narrow field of view-so reversing into a street light to the side of the car is a real possibility if your not carefull!! wounder just how much nissan charged for the motorized option initially? -
i could, but i live in a unit so theres no where to do the service. thats strange with the fuel filter-surely the lines coming into the engine bay would provide room for a replaceable fuel filter. Just phoned Nissan, they have fixed pricing for all the models. The 350z came to $240 for the standard service,$400 for full I asked what the v35 would cost and was told about the same -so $240 including genuine nissan parts
-
hey, just about to go get a pink slip and service done. Was thinking of getting a Nissan dealership service or my local garage to do it.Anyone have any experience with nissan (with the v35) or thoughts? I also need the part number for the oil filter and fuel filter.Im guessing they are the same as the 350z ??

nice, what options did it come with? post up some interior shots!

Fitting Fm Radio Converter
cookie--monster replied to wabbo69's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
i bought my band expander off ebay and installed myself.total cost $30 and 2 hours of fiddling result: not very impressed. am reception is better than before. fm reception is perfect on nova 96.9 (im in sydney) all other fm stations exhibit drop outs, interference and station mixing (where 2 stations are heard on the on channel) as i mainly listen to nova,im just gonna leave it. My Possible casuses: crappy bose headunit (unlikely) nissan glass antenna (unlikely) my install (unlikely) cheap ass band expander (very probable) -

cookie--monster replied to cookie--monster's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
yep-i went with them as well, after finding them in supercheap. they are excellent blades.had them for a few weeks now, but, The 450mm (smallest avaliable) for the passenger side is about 1cm too long, and doesnt quite lay flat at the end.do you have this problem wazza? -
Removing Double Din Dash Surround
cookie--monster replied to Darckness's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
compared to my old r32 its about three times more annoying/time consuming.I could have my md head unit out in 4 -5 minutes but the v35 takes at least 15 its way easier than the guys in the usa makes it out to be though...: ) -
Coupe Headlight Bulbs Info
cookie--monster replied to NISMO's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
you need d2s or d2r xennon bulbs.be prepared to spend a few hundred....they are not cheap! also make sure you have the ignitor wire as they are either cut or removed for compliance....
