  1. Bloody hell Ben what mangled mess. I hope you get it sorted out soon. Lucky it aint a left hand drive.
  2. Agreed Beer Baron, definately better coverage, love the hotpants shots!
  3. What the hell are we supposed to do, we're only 6 inches tall!
  4. Heres a link http://www.newcastlegtclub.com/tomgao.htm
  5. I'm in for EC and that 'secret location' was a bugger to find.
  6. Thanks Hooks, thought I'd misread. Sounds like a good place to be.
  7. Where does it take place?
  8. I'm in for this, should be fun.
  9. Having the Zeds new engine tuned tomorrow and a 4 wheel aligment. so I might go down for the drive and a look see but no track time as the engine needs to be run in before a thrash.
  10. Hey Fatz your track day is on the same day as Johnny's UAS at Wakefield.
  11. Think i'll pop in early, say g'day and go to work.
  12. I'm already there! It'll be Zed city.
  13. It would be good to do a Wed/Thur, always plenty of track time.
  14. Thanks for the opportunity for input Boaty. Personalities and rivalries make for good viewing also some history of the cars used. Would like to see some in-car split footage of footwork, steering, gauges, etc. Also some views on setup, car mods, aero work, etc, always interesting stuff. Oh yeh, more chicks!
  15. Perhaps the coverage could include some rudimentary instruction, with some footage and voice over, to educate the masses on what actually is under/over/push/power slide, etc. Something like what you see with golf coverage with a pro's swing in slo-mo or in league/union where they dissect a try. This would give the steerer's a little more respect for their skill level, so they are not just thought of as 'hoons doing burnout' down at the local carpark. Also, why they use predominately Japanese imported cars and not Euro's, etc.
  16. Thanks Beer Baron and Adriano, I think I get it, I'll speak to Boosted Zed. Adrian, the Sards cost me $660 delivered through Greenline and the collars were $120 for the set including o-rings and hex bolts in a G/B on aus300zx forum.
  17. Thanks guys for the heads up. Satanic, these are side feeds and high imp, I think yours would be top feeders and low imp. Richard, WTF is the lag time?
  18. I have just had my VG30DETT rebuilt and have added Sard 650 injectors. Originally used stock 320's and on the dyno it made 268.5 @ 16psi with a good fuel map. Now I need to change the fuel (flow?) % , as the sards are close to twice the size, so I can get it to the tuners, about 30km's. I use a Microtech LTX12 with the in-car dash display and I was wondering if anyone has experience with these ecu's and/or can offer some advise. Cheers.
  19. Let's hope that they keep continuity with this series and not let it become another holden/ford marketing ploy, like they did in the 90's! It's ok to use local market cars to boost public interest, but I fear the inevitable, again.
  20. Hey Moana, been doing this over the last 8 weeks. 270rwkw just wasn't enough! I had the block bored +40 tho, ACL ross racing forged pistons, Eagle forged rods, ARP rod & big end bolts, crank balanced & nitrated, all new bearings and welsh plugs, lower plenum port matched & polished, block chemically cleaned & pressure tested, exhaust manis port matched & polished, heads port matched & polished, 5 angle valve grind, coolant galleries de-burred,a complete gasket kit, new stock lifters, cams left std. Added to this high flow turbos, sard 650cc injectors, GFB under drive pulley, extrude honed plenum, sard fuel regulator, 60mm blitz radiator, 55mm throttle bodies, 3" dump pipes, 2.75" mandrel bent exhaust, high flow cats, s/s UAS resonator, 900x300 FMIC, twin pod filters, Microtech X12s ecu, Blitz EBC, light weight flywheel, richmond leader diff, 1200kg single plate 9 puck clutch, 19 row oil cooler, urathane engine mounts, header tank, oil catch can, battery relocated to rear hatch and EGR removed. Also all new adjustable suspension, camber things, caster bits, whiteline swaybars, completely removed Hicas lines and stuff. Should be ready in a week or so I guess, been thrashing the NA, but i'm suffering from LACK OF BOOOOOOST!! So how's your project coming along?
