Well done to all involved in getting this day together. Top time Adam, man you got those 4 doors around there quick. Weather was much kinder than the last track day. Spewing that I had work commitments, would have been fun to have another boat out there chasing the Liners. LOL

Bugger, pain in the arse paper work and insurance increase. Did they do any damage to premises?

Interested in the HID kit. Am I too late? Not sure which type though for my Z32 300zx. The std type is a H3c, so not sure what Hid type is applicable.

Bloody hell Paul that's very scary mate. I'm very glad that you and your family are all fine. I was also in the area that same day, about mid-day, turned left into Jenolan Caves Rd and then to Oberon. Roads were all very slippery and I found myself on opposite lock a few times, bloody turbos. Apart from being safe, another good thing about those Territories is they can tow track cars.

I too have a ltx12s in my TT Zed. It only makes 268rwkw @ 15psi, so it's not to crazy. Dosn't miss a beat, cold starts first up, dash display is informative and ezi to tune. My mate has one in his Zed and it makes over 400rwkw @ 21psi and it does the job for him. I have heard that they manage a vee config beter than a straight six, but this is only conjecture.

I think theres another NA engine from Nissan that gets completely over-looked, the VG30DE. I know it's a vee, but my NA sounds real sweet. With little mods you can get over 200kw @ flywheel. Over engineered and tough as, with serious mods and Nos, who knows? Stock internals on a TT can handle nearly 400+ kw. All you need is big enough bay. ps; that yellow NA zed in those HPI dvds runs 10 sec 1/4. -

I have an NA Zed (aswell as a TT) and one advantage of the air intake is the pod filter sits afront of the radiator. This setup keeps hot engine-bay air out , so I would assume you would get a similar result. Don't know how that filter would go being exposed to the elements? Are there any power gains, claimed by the manufacturer?

Top day for a fang. Unlucky Mona, I hope you can sort it out real soon. Reedy in his R33 showed the way with his new oil cooler. I lost my oil cap somewhere in the 1st session and then my clutch decided to slip under boost, but my mate Wizard in his bling auto Zed and the wrong side of 60, slipped it around in the 51's. :sorcerer: PS: Mona did you have a transponder in your car?

Bloody rain!! I don't think it's rained there for 40 years. Had a good time out there, even though I didn't compete. Fatz rules in the r31, who cares about lap times when you get that kinda show. Pity about Snowmans tyre going south. Snuck out in the Zed for the photo shoot, so got in 2 laps. Thanks to JP for the 'pitcrew' experience.

Just give the guys at UAS a call 9634 8000, I'm sure they will do their best to accommodate. As far as track time is concerned, last UAS day I managed to do 59 timed laps in my NA Zed. It was a busy day with 5 catagories; NA, 4/C Turbo, 6/C Turbo, GTR + Race cars and Drift. Hope this helps.
