  1. Aaron, You were spot on with your 1.02 estimate for Calder. What time do you nominate for the island?
  2. For all of you in GTS-t or RWD Turbo, a friendly reminder about PI Vid
  3. Very impressive, just wondering how long the rear bumper bar will last with all the flame throwing actions. <_<
  4. I'd like this pic the best Pic managed to keep the fire breathing Godzilla behind until half way down the straight
  5. What don't you need to have a Skyline to join the club? else why call it Skyline Club, may as well call it Wang Club or something like that.
  6. Theoretical Yes, Statistically you have very little chance of wrapping your car around something in a club sprint day. Are you saying we would be better of with factory lap-sash than race harness at club sprints?
  7. You don't need 3" as long as it's CAMS or FIA standard, there used to be some 2.5" that has CAMS/FIA tags. Not sure now. Scotsman it's hard to predict what will happen with the harness in that situation. But on most tracks it would be hard to hit a tree. For serious Tarmac Rally you should really have a full cage.
  8. this is a club sprint, there is no requirement on the sup reg to have the tow hook painted red or a tow hook sign. I think some of the tarmac rally there is stricter requirement on this. from wrx club sup. reg. for the event. > h) All vehicles must have tow hooks fitted
  9. The photos were shot a long way away from the pits. Here the 2 followed on pics
  10. Roy, You will NOT be allowed to run any non-CAMS/FIA approved or expired harness in any CAMS speed event if the scrutineer follow the CAMS rules. You would most probably be asked to removed them and use you OEM seat belt if equiped, most OEM 3 points seat belt is ok for CAMS non-race speed event. You cannot compare the effectiveness of the standard OEM seatbelt to a 4/5/6 points harness, when you are in a rollover. This car was 3 meters in the air rollover a few times the car had no rollcage but the driver had 4 points harness. He survived and was very glad to have had the harness.
  11. Well AFAIK that GTR had a full rollcage, what about yours Andrew? Me think a new bunch of regs will be needed for cars like yours and Crazy Frank.
  12. BBQ Lunch $25/head extra ...
  13. $175 paid by today, $200 paid after today. OUCH ... sure make the wrx club sprints looks cheap ...
  14. perhaps you need a few gt-r kill stickers on your rear quarter panel B)
  15. Only GT3 will do
  16. thanks guys will update list before event. btw what's a GTT and does the t in GTSt has to be lower case
  17. Anthony Snelling A SKYLINE GTR Mark Pether A SKYLINE GTR Denham Melder A SKYLINE GTR Steven Walton A GTST Chris Tompson A GTR Andrew Richmond A GTR ok boys can you correct the descriptions above?
  18. Wouldn't I just go down to RacePace with all my cash and the some and ask Ben for a fast Skyline
  19. In the Sup. Reg. it says $120 for the cost. To us non Skyline people a Skyline is a Skyline. If it makes you happy Snowie may be we can label all Skylines GTS-T Seriously I think Marcus use Excel to enter the entry details and the auto-typing feature has converted every Skyline to GTR,
  20. or this http://www.wrx.com.au/motorsport/64.php
  21. luckily for Snowie the wrx club does not have breathaliser testing pre-event
  22. Troy or whoever remember to sign on as instructor at the start of the day. Forecast for VIC north-east is 'Shower Clearing'
  23. Snowman, We need one Skyline driver trainer. Either you or Chris in group 1 to help a Skyline DT in group 4.
  24. You blokes crack me up  Hiring car, putting on race tyres and race fuel. If only everyone else are this keen
