  1. Thanks for all the replies guys. It has a FMIC so a stocker won't work unfortunately. He may have to try and get an extension from the EPA as there aren't any in Australia that we can find... Thanks again for all the help. Cheers, Trev...
  2. Hi all just after a bit of help or info.... My mate has had his R33 for a while now and recently has been defected for his air intake setup. He has to take it to the EPA on the 22nd to have it cleared and have no idea what needs to do to make it comply. It has an Apexi pod filter with no airbox. We need to know, what it needs in terms of an airbox and also whether it can keep this pod filter ?? Are there any aftermarket airboxes or similar I can get to suit an Apexi pod filter ?? We just really need to know what I have to do so it will pass. Any help or input would be much appreciated because as you can see we only have a week to get it sorted out. ***EDIT*** I AM IN NSW HAS ANYONE IN NSW BEEN DEFECTED FOR HAVING A POD WITH NO AIRBOX ?? Thanks... Cheers, Trev...
  3. Thanks for that Matt. Is the stock turbo going to be the only turbo that I can bolt on with no other mods needed ?? The money isnt really an issue anymore because I'd rather upgrade it to a better turbo now than buy a stock one and then spend more money in the future upgrading that one..... Thanks again for everyones help on this..... Cheers Trev...
  4. Or are they even any direct bolt on replacements ?? Sorry if these questions are common knowledge but I read for a few hours trying to find a direct replacement with no luck. I have been looking at a few for sale on an auction site but am worried they aren't as they say direct bolt on. I have been told I need to change oil lines and exhaust or something like that. Please guys any help you can offer would be a huge help. Otherwise I have to get this one rebuilt. Again Thanks all for your time and help on this. Have a good week... Trev
  5. Cheers for that info. I was wondering what specific turbos I can look for to buy that will bolt straight on with little or no mods needed ??? Thanks again guys.
  6. Hi guys, I am new here and have read, and read hundreds of posts to answer my question but am having trouble finding a solid answer. I have a 93 R33 GTS-T and have blown the turbo. I am wondering what are the cheapest and easiest options for a simple bolt on replacement ?? What different brands offer direct bolt-on replacements ??? Any help you guys can offer will be much appreciated as I am a total newbie to turbos and I have limited funds to replace the blown one. Thanks Trev....
