if you don't mind me asking what sort of cost were they?? and where'd ya get them from

Hey, I'll give the full story, first problem with factory ecu, driving along dropped to five cylinders all over a sudden narrowed that down the the no2 cylinder injector not firing due to no pulse from the ecu. Purchased link gtst second hand for a steal, plugged in and tuned running really well made 211kw at the wheels with standard turbo pump and injectors, next day car devolpes a miss off boost, which very quicky gets worse and actually drops to five cylinders by the time i get it back to the mechanic, starting it up again the car has now also devolped a knock (big end bearing) it is quickly discovered that it is the no.2 cylinder that is not firing again by removing the coil lead. upon removing the spark plug we see that it is absoulutly fried missing pretty much the whole top, we then checked the no.1 spark plug also rooted but not as bad, then we checked the no.3 spark plug perfect?!? The mechanic has put this down to the no.1 and no.2 injectors been stuffed, although this is still to be tested, my question is... is this sort of thing heard of or is it more likely a fault in the ecu, been second hand or perphaps poor tuning??? I really want to get this narrowed down cos the new motor (rb30det) is not going to be cheap and i really don't want to have the same problem happen to it thanks in advance (sorry about the novel)

picked up the ecu second hand $180 and it does work lol like the map sensor don't have to stuff around with afm

just heard from AJ's (the guy who owns this car) girlfriend she said that it was spotted on isabella drv around five oçlock this arvo, the police said they have a had a few cases recently where cars have been stolen used for a robbery the parked at unit blokes ect. then used again the next night for another robbery, for several nights then the car gets dumped and burned

hey people about to start building a rb30det unsing s1 33 rb25 head, well proengines in canberra is anywayz, just after some quick advice on the fuel system, will be runiing a link ecu with map sensor and a gt35R hi mount with ext wastegate ect, the motor is been built with a fair bit of power in mind enough for 300+ probably more around the 350 mark, will a bosch 044 mounted intank do the job? and if so does anyone know of a guide for fitting one cos i know there a fair bit of a biatch been bigger than the 040... and secondly injectors i've read on this 550cc seem to do the job but would anyone recommend slightly bigger than that for 350kw? i know theres a method to figure it out but i'm not a mechanic harry lol

i'm just after people opinons on this, I'm up for a rebuild at the mome and don't like to do things half arsed lol, narrowed down my choices to 2 setups a gt3040R on a worked 25 or a gt3540R on a worked 25/30 i will be looking to get proengines to do the build regardless but does anyone know of them doing a rb25/30det before? and at what sort of cost? as far as i'm aware there still in a transition state at the moment so i don't want to bother them just yet lol and basically what i'm after is more than 300rkw with as little lag as possible budget 15g but of course would like to stay below that by a fair margin if possible

i've been told i will be coming as a passenger lol wont be the same as driving tho

sadly to say i might not be making this anymore the skyline has done a big end bearing so yeah might still tag along but not sure yet sorry guys
