Beware the "valley of death". The TT's had a laggy hole between the smaller turbo handing over to the larger one.
This can be fixed by ditching the twin setup and its convoluted piping system and chucking a vf23 on it, then itll go good.
Just find a single turbo unit, you will be much happier.
Down the straight it was neck a neck. The 26 has a much bigger spread of power through the rev range. The GTR would have had a better lap time Im sure.
I had a run against my mate in his GTS-T and my GTR. His car had more rwkw than mine yet at the track the GTR would walk away from in the corners. If you add more power to the GTST the situation will only get worse, not better. Ive owned and driven everything turbo in the R32 guise and the GTR is at the top of tree im afraid.
Way low, to the piont where you can not go any lower, as soon as I started up again it just popped, made a noise! Problem is that my dip grips on the gym are right up the top so I had to complete the excercise, which did more damage.
Ive only just hit the gym again after having 2 weeks off due to an injury doing dips. I sprained my sternum, no shit. Where the ribs join on the cartlidge stretched and became inflamed. Fark it hurt. It felt like Id been punched fair in the sternum but from the inside.
Fuck dips and all they stand for.
Gday Sime. What amount are trying to insure the car for?
Mine is with Shannons atm, the value is a lot lower than what its really worth but it is in a secure location and gets driven very rarely. It costs me around $700pa full comp.
Stick some pics of the car up mate
