  1. Just out of curiosity, what are these rated at each?
  2. There is a great drive just out of Alice Springs, goes through the old escaprment country. I went through there in my old GTS4, it had around 210kw at the wheels, was an absolute blast. Not quite sure how fast I went as the speedo stops at 180 (it would do that in 3rd). Cy, your avatar scares me, please change it. Open limit road btw.
  3. Will do, Id say TAS07 will be the time for me, very busy atm.
  4. Someone buy it! Ill grab the clear front idicators.
  5. Im getting between 250-300kms out of a tank. Its running a bit on the rich side so that should improve when i get it tuned up.
  6. Bugger, he is getting me an Autech engine badge though, which should be cool! When are you going over? Around snow time I guess? Cheers
  7. SK, do you have the upper and lower rear stagea spring od's, what is the unsprung sring height? Thanks Gary.
  8. Thanks Tangles, SK - over to you, what are your thoughts?
  9. Yep, going with cheap tyres. Its just come off a car lot? Probably got compliance tyres on it, ie. cheap & nasty. Cheers, Ken
  10. Hugh, you have just described the perfect day. Well done.
  11. Been up and down those two more times than I can remember, both are fantastic. Coming out of Bowral and down through Kangaroo Valley is awesome too.
  12. So you survived your first Canberra winter eh, f**king cold isnt it!
  13. Hi all, Need a little help finding some rear springs for the 260. I bought a set of R*SR coilovers (R33 GTR) for my wagon but found the rear springs were to fat to fit inside the strut tower. The coilovers have a helper spring but I dont mind if they arent used. Can someone give some advice/measurements for the rear springs? I need to find out what the unsprung hight is, the outside diameter of the spring at the top and bottom, and what load in kg's I should be looking at. All help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Ken
  14. Dave, First up, good choice of vehicle. The Stags are great. The S2 manual would have to pick (unless there is cash for a 260). The DAYZ edition has carbon fibre dash and console surrounds along with an airbag MOMO tiller. Very nice! Apart from that I dont think there is much difference. Cheers, Ken (very happy owner of 2 Stags)
  15. Pearl white 260RS. In the NT. Pretty much stock Wife owns a 97 RS4 auto with gtr fmic, pod, bleeder, 3" turbo back, tein sus, splitfies's, apex boost guage and apex timer.
  16. The Wee J drive is great. My fav drive now is through Litchfield National Park up here in the NT. Hills, corners, off camber stuff, its got it all.

  21. A lot of the new Nismo and gen Nissan R33 GTR stuff is getting very hard to find. They will sell you a motor if you have the coin.
  22. No idea where you would source a motor, might have to go direct to Nismo Japan. The car is in the NT. I am hoping to get around the 800hp mark (flywheel) when its finished.
  23. 650 to go now! Its running rich as, cant seem to get enough fuel out of it. Its on the dyno as we speak. Will get it down to the weighbridge soon. Hows your thing going?
  24. I was just curious as mine feels like its going a lot slower than 100, thought the speedo might be out. Anyways heres some photos. The last one is a bit blurry though - camera phone.
  25. Welcome Matt, enjoy your Stag, everyone else here loves theirs so you should be no different. Cheers, Ken
