  9. Give me a call Ill cut you a deal on a set of rods :-)
  10. Im not trying to sell you my rods - just trying to explain that you are going to get in all sorts of shit of you use those ones with the 155.5 c/c CP 8.2:1 are a flat top that come flush with the deck. CP 9:0.1 are a domed piston. The flat of the piston come flush to the deck with a small dome in the centre. CP RB30ET pistons have a small dish with valve reliefs. To get 8.5:1 your prob best to use the 8.2:1 and skim the head - but obviously work backwards and cc everything first to calculate how much to take off the head.
  11. forgot about the calculations. All off the shelf RB30 pistons are designed for std length rods ( 152.5mm ), so any rod differing from std will effect the piston crown deck height.
  12. The CP pistons have 0mm deck height - meaning they are flush with the deck. If you install the other rods they will protrude above the deck by 3mm, which will make it hard to run :-)
  13. Umm yes - the pistom will protrude 3mm out of the bore and you wont be able to bolt the head on. It just wont work - you will need to get a custom piston made to suit.
  14. There are no SPOOL rods with 155.5 centre to centre they are all 152.5 The other brands that you see with 155.5 are just the wrong size. They could be used with a cutom piston, but to no advantage.
  15. I forgot to mention I need 10mm ID also
  16. Looking for a suitable high pressure hose designed for intank applications ( being submersed in petrol 24/7 ). Std EFI hose just doesnt cope in this situation.
  17. I have a fully reconditioned R32 crank, mains and big ends ground 0.25/0.25. Crack tested and straightness checked. email if interested. [email protected]
  18. Contact JHH performance ( they are in Bris ) - Im sure they can replace them for considerably less. Cheers
  19. WTB: 50mm - 60mm External Wastgate (NEw or Used ) Must be reliable brand ( not imitation ) Turbosmart, HKS GT, Tial etc. Email [email protected] Cheers
  20. Sure - all Im saying is that unless you have some serious plans and a huge budget it might just be a waste of time.
  21. Well it all depends on whether you actually need it or not. What are your plans ? Why do you want to modify the existing piston ? There are numerous cars making 700- 800bhp on the off the self piston ?
  22. CP will make one off custom sets to order - the price is considerably more. You must be planning to make an immense amount of power as there are a lot of off the shelf CP's out there making spastic power.
  23. The keyways arent interchangable as far as I know.
