  1. In std form 9.5 is around the max I believe, not because it exposes the oil gallery ( well at least not on the r33 ). Its more due to coil bind and length of the spring on the intake side. If you cut the spring seat a little deeper and run the right dual springs ( with a more open winding ) you can run up to 10mm or more with no coil bind. Talk to LukeVL from Tighe Cams, he has done it and knows all about it.
  2. I have 3 - am in Bris though
  3. email me for any info you require. The RB26 pistons will give very high comp ratio due to the R34's small combustion chamber. They are not an option really.
  4. I have some with shifter, slave, fork and carrier - in Bris. email [email protected]
  5. go the T04Z :-) - you can always go for more power and know your turbo will be up for it. My aim is to get between 550 - 600 rwhp and that is why I choose it.
  6. I have a brand new metal cat - still in box.
  7. CP's 9.0:1 piston is the best option - no stuffing around milling blocks, or pistons. Perfect squish, straight in and away you go.
  8. Looking for std rods to suit FJ20 ? Cheers email [email protected]
  9. I have a fully rconditioned crank ( reground ) never used, and numerous sets of std rods. email [email protected]
  10. Im using a T04Z with .82 rear - makes full boost at 4100 rpm, so a 1.00 rear will prob be a bit of a lag monster on the street.
  11. from memory I think the R34 have a smaller diameter and differing heights, hence the retainers are also different. Performance Springs make retainers and springs for the NEO. I have a set in my RB30DET Hope that helps.
  12. How many are you after ?
  13. have some - but am in Bris. Can arrange freight though
  14. I have R33 RB25DET gearboxes and am in Bris
  15. Hey Robb, Email me some pics when you get a chance, as Im planning to do the same thing very soon.
  16. yes its quite easy. The r33 head requires to have the little brass plug ( do da ) removed so the front cam bearing gets oil. The R34 head like Im using requires nothing - just unplug the solenoid. What size cams are you planning to run ?
  17. I thought it was due to the fact that the VL radiator sat lower than the top of the head where as the R31 didnt ?
  18. Arias make pistons for RB20 - I can get you a price.
  19. I have a HKS 2540 with custom dump and all oil lines etc for R33 RB25. email [email protected] Cheers
  20. GREDDY / TRUST Electronic - Warning 2 bar or 3 bar Boost Guage - silver face only Email [email protected] Cheers
  21. AS r34 heads use a smaller combustion chamber than the R33 Im guessing the pistons are different than R33.
  22. yes I agree. No dyno chart - no post - there has to be some sort of Prerequisite - Apparently its not rocket science, but at least that might get help substantiate ( well sort of ) some of the claims on this form.
  23. ok no probs - give me a call on 0402 351 688, need a couple days to get them in. Cheers
  24. $2090 for pistons/rings and rods $1350 for pistons//rings plus freight and insurance
