    If its seized youll just end up damaging the oil pump trying to pry it off.

    As the gear needs to be taken off first to get the oil pump off, and the gears are prone to seizing on it is sometimes an option to drill and tap two holes into the pulley and then use bolts and a puller to pull it off. A new gear will be required.
