Go carting sounds like a sweet idea! Along the motor sport theme, cheap thrills, not thrshing your own car and a level playing feild except for the power to weight ratio to spark some competition. I know K.P.R. has a qualifying and 3 race set up on friday nights at a reasonable price. Never done it but keen

Only been on one organised cruise (not on this web site) to the sunshine coast since i got my car and have to say it was a complete dive. A solid "Group Drive" on some interesting road through the abbundance of dantree avalible to us ending up at some where like natural arch where you can swim and BBQ like Gordon suggested would be awsome. It would seem skyliners are a different breed and enjoy utilising all aspects of their car and not just dumping it, fitting it with the biggest set of rims that will fit the gaurds, driving on the boring free way for an hour to drive up and down the same strip all day. I love a good looking car but i got my car to drive it! which brings me to my choice: skid pan and test and tune events offer plenty of time to socailise as well as good clean fun in the drivers seat Sorry, bit of a rant

Hidiho all, posted this in the events section but everything in there seems to have an extremely low turn over so here it is for all to see and hopfully some more exposure! All details are contained in the file but i would also recommend checking the web site itself closer to the date as small details may change. It'd be great to see SAU QLD out in force B) P.S. If anyone is interested, it is highly likely that a few friends and myself will be meeting up in the valley before heading down to the initial meeting point of the cruise. If their's interest, i'll post up the details closer to the event!

Hey steve, great looking gauges for the price. I was wondering about the illumination, they look like they'd be trick at night but what about during the day? As in, do you hook up ignition and illumination so you can see the gauge during the day and illuminate when you turn on your lights or is the illumination and gauge a matter of on and off Cheers Steve, keep up the great offers

Cheers for the opinions guys R33S2- I was Planing to sidle up to a few people at the next cruise but for obvious reasons would be reluctant to take me for a spin which would detract from their cuise. Can't blame em, I wouldn't on an organised cruise either. It sounds good also to just get the mods done and reep the rewards but i'm spread very thinly time wise along with a currently interstate relationship (i'm sure a few of you would know what thats like). For me half the fun of it is the build and i'm learning to do the fabrication etc. etc myself. I don't mind it taking time but i'd like to experience what i'm working towards.All that said, point taken Mud- Thanks for the heads up on people to contact. Thats exactly what i need. Actually tried pred a couple of days ago without result, so i hope the PM went through ok BASICALLY ALL I'M AFTER IS A ONE TIME SEAT OF MY PANTS EXPERIENCE OF THE BASIC MODS I'M SURE MOST HAVE ACHIEVED. Greetings everyone, I got my R32 GTS-T about a year ago and to be honest haven't achieved much due to time restraints. I have alot of the components together to make the mild upgrades such as pod,cold air induction,R33 GTR cooler,exhaust and made up jaycar DFA,TBC and controller but still finding time hard to come by at present. Enough of my sobe story and to the point. I was hoping there was some one in or around brisbane with similar mods that wouldn't mind meeting up at some point to take me for a spin and show me what the potential is? The reason i ask is, i'm a freshly qualified mechanic so i can perform the mods myself but will take some time when on the flip side, I have a good friend in a perfomance shop that has told me for the amount of effort,time and money involved i'd be better off with an S15 and applying these breathing and cooling mods to achieve a much more lieghtal car. So what do you guys think? and is anyone willing to show me there car? can be out cruising or what ever! CHEERS in advance

Personally i'm a big fan of those three gauge modules that sit center dash that you always see in dvds of cars in japan but i'm still to locate any here. With the admission that I haven't even tried yet so if any one has some insight, it would be most appreciated!

High guys, i actually bought the IEBC and controller quite a ways back but due to lack of time it's been sitting in the cupboard. now i'm ready to build i have a drama i hope some of you can shed light on: how do you keep your soldering iron tip clean to take solder properly because mine keeps (oxydising?) and blackened causing the solder to bead instead of taking to the tip. I have an adjustable temp. iron and have tried varying temps around the 300D.C mark and have also tried a tip refresher product which works great on every part of the iron except the very tip. So any advice would be most appreciated.Cheers in advance

I'm also very interested in how much you can get one for an R32 GTS-T and you say they come already tuned for the RB20DET but i'm assuming you can change the tune as mods increase. Is this correct? Cheers
