Is Tomei Parts Made In China?

I have met Aki Sasaki, President of Tomei and have had the pleasure of dinner with him in 2012. Tomei take their manufacturing very seriously and are all about quality control, regardless of the country they are made in. It is not as competitive to make everything in Japan like they used to. With approx $200 million of stock in the USA, they need to ensure that things are made and sold at competitive margin. The chinese are brilliant manufactures, but are 100% clueless as to what they make and why it has to be a certain way. I have visited factories and facilities you get good and bad facilities depending on the operators. The good facilities have engineers as owners. The bad ones have people looking to copy and make a quick buck. The only way you can tell is if you go to the factory and have a good look around at their manufacturing. Wages for good manufacturing employees are around $100-$150 USD per week, 40hr work week, paid overtime etc and includes boarding / meals etc. Graduates that work at HSBC or similar in accounting / auditing roles - approx 700-800 usd per month, paid monthly as a salary and lots of overtime when required. -

Hel / Goodridge FTW. I don't rate Maltech as they use a OEM type swage that beads the circumference in two areas instead of a proper high pressure coupling swage which firmly crimps the coupling in a uniform way. 20,000psi + high pressure fittings are swaged in this way. Does it make a difference? Probably not as the OEM is done this way - however I find this is a the cheaper way to do things instead of buying a proper swaging machine and dies to suit. What you're saying is pretty accurate - The design is such that they are hard to adjust on car with the JJR arms and the superpro bushes will require you to press out/in as required. If you want adjustable camber, you'll need to make a choice: re the above lol. -

The GTR did great over the quarter mile, but we could quickly see the Italia was gaining on it. Another 100m and the Italia would have overtaken. The same video magazine does in car lap comparisons at Leguna Seca - youtube it The GTR is the best bang for buck package. They are so cheap OS compared to here they are the logical choice. You could nearly buy 2x GTRs in the USA for the cost of one here! US MSRP $89,950 USD, used, 50-60k for a 2009 model. Porsche 911 Turbo is only $139,000 USD new, compared to $400,000 k here.

Motec M800 Vs Vipec V88 - Real Info Needed

FYI Guys, I have both now Motec is staying in the 1JZ T51R SPL Soarer and the Vipec will shortly replace my PowerFC in the Supra. I also scored a plug and play loom for The VL RB30-26 project so Winning all the way around I need A / B Looms for the Vipec and an Air Temp Sensor AIT.... can anyone help? Pretty Please! Going for 400rwkw in the Supra and the PFC won't cut it for my drag and anti-lag ambitions hehe. I love the Motec, the software and the support, but I don't like paying through the arse for features that are ALREADY on the ECU. I also like the LInk G4 Extreme interface so I copied the theme/layout over into the Vipec Software and voila - it works! So someone please get back to me with pricing and availability on a A/B loom for the Vipec + AIT. I've been quoted around $300 or so delivered, but looking for a better deal or the Plug & Play harness for the 2JZ. Vipec say They they won't sell it separately, which is BS as I have a Vipec already. -

Sounds electrical. It could also be the valve body being in 2nd instead of D - make sure that you have the T bar selector aligned properly under the car PUFF NO YOU <<<<< LOVE IT -
Any updates on this? Was it the VDC or ECUs freaking out causing the issue?

Exactly, there should be a Lambda table and it will trim/add fuel as required to reach the target lambda. A failsafe solution is to use a GM flex fuel sensor 0-5v analogue input to detect the amount of Ethanol in the brew and trim/adjust the E85 map to suit and then look into having a switchable map based on less than x% ethanol for a hybrid map/petrol map. E85 is too inconstant for my liking to be used everyday unless the servo is consistent with their brew. -
So to the OP, what happened in this case? Sounds like total BS to be speeding 100km/h in a 60 zone at any time of the day, unless you're mentally retarded.

Hey Guys, I was trying to organize a similar event with the Soarer/Supra Club for the opening night, Wednesday, but we will shift to this night instead Rik can get the Gold/Yellow 350z from the cover of F&F Tokyo Drift as long as VicRoads gives the permit for it to be out at night. The car has a 7pm curfew and needs a permit for night time on the road. Should be ok as its the premiere of the movie. 350Z pictured below: 1. Driftshop / Costa - Supra or Soarer 2.
