hey guys i am having problems with my R32. i have just recently changed my a/c belt because it was all chewed up on the outer side of the pulley. now my new belt is starting to wear aswell in the same spot right on the edge. rips about 2mm off the edge off the belt all the way around. as far as i can tell the pulleys look pretty alligned by eye sight so i dont know what is the prob. is this a general problem or just bad luck. all help appreciated.

I average out at 350kms per tank and it costs me $70 on premium to fill (50/55ltrs) but i think my car is running a bit rich. likes to backfire alot getting microtech LT8 in next week so will fix it.

missed that left a bit early, got fried by the sun. what about the blue commadore into the fence down near the entry. great day.

what car was microtech on? R32 / R33

cleaned mine with carby cleaner, throttle body cleaner.

it cold be the fuel pump but it hasnt played up for nearly 2 days bout 250kms since i put the new afm on. but if it does keep playing up i will look at those. thanks guys.

thanks again, will get on ebay and have a look. was going to get microtech byt rather pfc. as for your prob, it is only a line for a breather so i dont see why it would make a difference if you bung it up. but i could be wrong

just a quick question. does any1 no whether a RB26 intake manifold will fit on a RB20. and is it worth the money. will it make it more responsive with shorter / straighter cooler pipes. tried a search and didnt find anything.

i think i found the problem. pulled my air filter off and my afm today to replace it with another one. i looked at the afm inside on the sensor and it was covoered in this black stuff. turns out it was the oil from the air filter. got a K&N pod filter, when i put it on u have to spray it with this oil stuff from a can. i think that this has sucked through and dirtied the afm. i put this other afm on and it hasnt played up as yet. kept the old on and am going to clean it and keep it as a spare. does anyone no how to clean these. the link to this in the diy / faq section doesnt work... thanks again guys that helped me with the problem.

remove the breather lines goin over the top of the motor, undo the hose clamp were the cast pipe meets the intake manifold, pull it out of the rubber pipe and lift it up a bit. you should then be able to get the cover off.

always wanted to know what the ECCS stands for?

just a thought check the screws for the taper / rocker cover on your motor. i know mine always seem to come loose and leak oil onto the turbo and surrounding area, this gives a nice strong smell of burnt oil. usually the screws closest to firewall...

A service is a service, sure some guys might do it on a GTR every day but most mechanics do the same job. taking to someone that deals in these cars (performance shop) will only overcharge you. a reliable mechanic will do your service for half the price. the guys at unigue autosports do a great job and they deal in these cars all day. they might not be the closest being about a 45min drive from were you are but they are good...

thanks for the reply guys. well if he told you that 260kms out of a tank is a factor, well mine must be pretty shot because i drive resonably sensible and only get 320kms out of a tank... might pick up a second hand one from the import guys i got the car off. it was fully serviced when i got it imported. whatched them do it. got oil and fuel filters, iridium sparkies, all oils new pod etc... thanks again i thought i was up for thousands........... it really had me worried

i have recently had an R32 imported and it has the general little problems that need to be fixed, as they do. i was driving around last night doin about 60 in 3rd not accelerating or anything and the car just cut out. i put the pedal to the floor and the car would kick in and out jumpin all over the place, so i put the clutch in and revved it to the shit and it came back good. drove around for about half an hour no probs but the it did it again in fourth. only does it randomly and it has me worried. it has been doin it all day today. need some help if anyone has had similar probs. i tried a search but couldnt find anything. all advice appreciated. thanks...

will you seperate how much for just the camshafts??

how would this go with turbo back 3" exhaust pod filter hybrid front mount and a bit of boost, 12psi would it really make much of a difference?
