    Yep. Nothing special there. Been able to do that since they have been coming here. Everyone bitched about the price. No different to doing a V35. Rest of the system is still in Japanese.

    DEI is not a RFID device. its a APP linked to a GSM phone linked to a server.

    standard 15' extension will fix it.. if it was a 32 or 34 then its a different matter.

    what year is this car? if its 2007-2010 then there is a LOT to change. if its later then you may be in with a chance.

    Pillar panels are not that expensive. Also check continuity from end to end on that antenna cable.

    Not without knowing what you have. The concept behind that can be set up so plugging in switches video. Does that phone have a true video out?

    My understanding of it was the thing would randomly reboot. Screen output sits on the UART lines via a controller. Never delved too deeply into it though.

    I have boards available that make this a plug in process for both the sharp and toshiba variants. I took the sharp out of mine and installed a toshiba. If there's interest I will make that board available as well.

    Certainly have. So you have the tv option in there OR the tv button that displays a message? If its the latter then I can mod the unit so you can do video in. That one is set up to do a reverse camera.

    Fry, Yes 2nd gen. I bought a bunch of them 6 months ago as I got sick of repainting them. Cruise, not that easy. You will get the odd expert that tells you otherwise though. I do it as a kit . Call me if you are interested. It's not cheap.
