nah innner guard was waht I awas hinting at. dont worry about the key. make it a bitch to get at. as a marker the saab 900 has a second horn for the OEM alarm tucked UNDER the passenger guard. trust me its a BITCH to get at and disable.

no it doesn't. depending on car they are two different leads in two different spots. 32,33,34 &35 are diode isolated from the drivers door. all have two places to get the wire. I do not get it in the usual spot. colours are all similar. inthe case of a S2 33 and 34 the smart entry system will foul the alarm if tied in at that point.

actually look up ROC strap. I keep these on hand usually and they are great to secure a box of that size down. about $16. velcro works to a point for light boxes but not yours. you will end up with a big dent on one side if you turn a corner quickly as it will come unstuck.

someone hasnt a clue on R33's - they use two circiuts on the doors- drivers is ISOLATED from the other side- 4 door is the same. I second FRX026 - get it redone properly(actually PM me and I'll give you the fellow I refer sydney work to.). also be prepared to pay for the work as doing it properly doesn't take 5 minutes or 1 hour to do. trust me I have done hundreds of these cars ( 3 this week at 5hrs each!) and if its done poorly then the car is good as gone.

pull all the panels off. clean with prepsol - apply dynamat. if youget stuck or want a box of it fire me a pm.

did you disturb any wiring when you pulled the battery?

yep. even in remote spots like kalgoolrie most of these guys I personally know.

nissan can look it up easily. mention R32gtr and they will find it.
