  1. yes it does. you have two for it. one will be for the audio itself and the other will be for the inside light/memory/clock. if either are blown the radio will not work.
  2. no they are all different. a calll to clarion with proof of purchase will get it.
  3. arm85, no there isn't a way to do it. if the alarm is fitted properly then you shouldn't need it which alarm is it exactly ( PM me.) gexiaowen, brant are no longer in business, they went into recievership as of may. anything leftover is being sold as is. once its gone there's no more. that said no its no worth the $400. what alarm do you have on it currently? (pm me) if its hidden properly , meaning that a quick look under the dash doesn't show the module. then you shouldn't have to worry about it. put a few hidden switches in if you like.
  4. I have one that does a fair bit actually. look up Blaupunkt Aspen.
  5. how long is a piece of string? to do every panel on the car would take $5-600 to do properly in materials alone. time would be on top of that. considering that pulling the interior out of a 33 takes me an hour and the SD takes another 3 -4 you would have a 300-400 labour charge as well. really depends on how much of the car you want done.
  6. sounds like it. best to get the shop that fitted it to have a look. I have a guy in adelaide that can do the work also.
  7. price is correct. monitoring is $327/yr. car wont go far with this on it and you get a call instantly if something is happening.
  8. dreams aside you might want to look into what the transport authority has to say. they don't like working screens whilst driving.
  9. ok how bout one of these: Bluaopunkt Atlanta CD34. $219. add a bit of freightt to you and its $235.
  10. budget? I have a fair few with aux in..
  11. if you set the SW channel to full then the SW set of RCA outputs.
  12. if you tell me ( via pm) what audio is in the car I can TRY and help you get rind of the noise issue. is it tick or whine?
  13. any car audio store will have them ( myself included) and $25 is what I sell them for. whta year is your 32?
  14. www.quiktrak.com.au 0294288900. ask for gary or mark and tell them where you are and where you go.
  15. nope. the real ones are no longer made. there are 1000's of copies though. all of which are easily bypassed in a few minutes..
  16. for pioneer hold the F key. that will brinf up a set up menu. what unit is it?
  17. ok you found the SW setting- good. with that setting set to full you will have rear fading. sounds like a poineer uint to me. if you didn't understand the above do this: radio off acc on,hold the F key.that will bring up a menu , hit F unitil you get to the preout menu set it to full with the arrows and then F again. trun the unit on and it should be full range. as for noise. pull the RCA cable out of the radio and listen (engine running) do you have noise? if not them the amp isn't the problem. grab a twisted pair set of RCA cables (jaycar sell them as do I, and check the cables. from there reground the radio . should get rid of the noise prob.
  18. fix the real problem first. the noise choke you have goes in the engine bay ON the alternator. what gear is in the car (list all of it.)
  19. alan jong. used to do brant securirty. do a search for him in this area. ( I haven't got his number handy.)
  20. what deck out of curiosity- origin of it?
  21. the drivers door actuator is stuffed. ( or the linkage is loose, more likely stuffed though.) get another one and I'll tell you how to fix the problem properly.
  22. if thats the case ,the unit you descibed is from a mitsubishi of sorts - usually a lancer.) they are fitted locally here and if you take it to a service shop tell them where you got it and leave it they can get the code out of it. ( involves a call to clarion.)
  23. R32 has an amp and R33 has one as well IF you had the television/nav option. other wise the unit under the rear shelf is the HICAS UNIT! most of the 33's I have done don't have one. speakers are usually stuffed in these cars anyway unless the owner has done the audio before it left japan.
