    unit has a power supply fault. not really repairable. best to pull the lot and replace the radio.

    those unit run PICs and a 7805. not the highest tech item. a spike and low voltage can wipe the memory. I would do a battery first. 3 yrs is probably getting to the end of life anyway.

    nope. only usable part is the lead to it and MAYBE the antennas.

    ok thats a full removal and replacement with non nav gear. only way to do it.

    its in the drivers sill. go to the light to get the color though.

    its not as simple as a plug in lead.

    copart.com or any canadaian wrecker chain will have them. forget about looking in mainstream places and forget about doing this in normal hours.

    GPS sets it. no way to adjust it otherwise. turn it off.

    you could also grab a std U13 bluebird cass unit. same radio but local FM band so its useable just a though.

    There is. Russian fellow in Sydney that I suspect has gotten his hands on the local firmware update. I have seen one here in Brisbane and I was impressed. Only letdown are the buttons. They have stickers on them. Local dealer has the car so I did not get much time to play with it.

    If he's local soot me the details. There is one lead in that where a cut cable won't work.

    So they chopped that lead OFF. If that is the case then that ENTIRE panel gets replaced at $500.00

    got busy. I did get a chance to look a J60 here in brisbane. looks VERY close. see if you can get the body harness out of the donor car for your stuff.

    yep it is - NON NAVIGATION and ANALOG VIDEO. so this DOES NOT apply to the nav cars as they are digital video and a wee bit different to the base model.
