MASSIVE THANKS everyone !!!! ...the weather was the best, the route was great, as was the turnout of cars. Unfortunately OLD Jules's back is still very crook & it was her first time out in the RB, since she became unwell...so we pulled the pin early. Big ups to Brenton & Darren (sorry Daniel lol) for the organisation.....whatever Brenton has collected, we will send to the White Wreath Association but this was not about raising $$$...its about raising awareness of the silent epidemic killing our youth. Again, SAU please accept our sincere thanks "the dr1ft_pig13 OLDS" - Jules & Mark PS ....we were stoked to see the current Australian Super Drift Champion Linden Reynolds (& Bec) go back to basics in a pre-loved R32 and join the cruise......

I have been interstate all week unable to check the site...just got a look now....I am blown away by the amount of cars joining this cruise...Sunday will be my first day off & I can't wait....see you there !!! Thanks again for your support. OLD Mark (& Old Jules)

Yes any skyline is welcome....not sure how the guys are coming along with the cruise map, to be able to confirm the date...any later & it will be too close to the drift prac at "lalla" & Easter the following week end, after that. OLD Mark

OK lets start working on it and make it happen. Firstly is the Sunday the best day???? (ANY day you pick will always not suit some people) ..... Easter is the first w/end in April...too far away ??? ...every one got something on for Easter??? OK how is Sunday 11th or 18th March ???? .... We are happy to organise the route... Secondly, do you want to invite other forums/clubs or do you want to have the first one just for SAU ????. We NEVER ask for $5/$10 etc....just a gold coin donation....that way everyone can afford it. It is great to everyone enjoy themselves...we have 1 memorial cruise & 1 MEGACRUISE (300 cars last year) each year for Youth Suicide Awareness....so I will make sure SAU is included in both, from now on. We have other smaller cruises, as well. If you enjoyed the route & the fun of getting out & meeting other skyline drivers.....we can organise one just for SAU ???? ...what do you think ??? It has been 2yrs this week since Ben decided to leave us (feels like yesterday) but you have managed to make us feel humble & unreal...at the same time. Around 100 cars turned up in 40C plus heat...many without a/c to help us raise awareness of youth suicide. Ben would have been embarrassed & blown away. We are so glad three of Ben's best mates were able to join us today...Tim, Clarke & Sam (well known to those in the drift scene)...thanks guys it meant to world to us. To those who "revvvved up OLD Jules" sick at home....you made her day, although she said the cops came up the street about 20mins after you had gone...not sure why ???? lol To every single driver & passenger THANK YOU !!!!! To Mike & Joel ...big ups for all your help. Finally it appears, despite the sentiment behind the location of the meet point, we have outgrown the car park...so next year we will start somewhere else...BTW we raised $396.60 (without the money raised by the sale of the audio speakers) kindly donated by GT AUTOSOUND...thanks Theo & George. OK it is gunna be even hotter than we thought.....so we will try and get the cruize under way ASAP. We will aim to meet @1pm & leave by 1.30pm.....(if you are running late & want to know where we are, call me 0431 396 417. MEETING POINT When turning into Jack High lane (from Golden Grove Road) the road outside the swimming centre is always full of cars (parked on both sides of the road, in the shade)....squeeze through them, keep coming up the road, vear to the left at the end of the cemetery fence....then drive straight ahead into the large car park @ the end of the road. On the southern boundary of the car park there are some very large shaddy gum trees, lets squeeze as many cars under them, as we can. PLease bring bottles/cans of COLD drink....although driving through the hills, it should be reasonable and we will make drink stops along the way. OLD Mark

Guys...its gunna be 36C on Sunday....so you will need to be prepared....almost all of the cruise is through the shaddy Adelaide Hills but.... OLD Mark PS ...for the guys coming from down south...although we are meeting at 1pm, we will NOT leave before 1.30pm...in case you are running late...don't worry.

MEETING PLACE Seen as SAPOL are aware of the cruise, I cant see any point in not revealing to meet location....if they want to harrass us when we are gathering for this purpose, then it shows their true colours. I must admit they have always been good to us on this cruise, in the past. OK we will be meeting at 1pm at a very sentimental location & the map will reveal that....(this is where the cruise on the day of Ben's funeral left from) Jack High Lane at Ridgehaven, remember to follow this road up (from the Golden Grove Rd swimming pool & funeral home entrance) to its very end...there is a large carpark between the footy oval & the bowling club....and an overflow carpark besides the bowling club. Now we are asking for a Gold coin donation (for the route map) which will be given to the White Wreath Association...many will remember their display in Victoria Sq, last yr JACK HIGH LANE.....remember to follow it up till it ends Hope to see you there......
