  1. when u get to about 3000 rpms whilst driving it will open it up. i would get rid of the stock muffler, its very restrictive. but do a search as this has already been covered.
  2. hey where abouts are you located? if ur in melb i'll pick up the black one. cheers
  3. 93 N/A Skyline (non-turbo) RB25DE, MAN, Gun Metal Grey colour, 146,000K's. Still have all the compliance papers, Jap service books and also AUS service history. First owner in AUS, have had the car since 2001, at that stage the car had 90,000k's on the clock. I have only done roughly 56,000k's since 2001. Slight scratches and crack on the front bar, otherwise the rest of the car is in VGC. Comes with VDO CD Stacker, Extractors and exhaust, 16" rims as well as a set of the standard factory alloys. Price dropped to $10900ONO, if someone is genuinely interested then make an offer, otherwise I am going to trade the car in once I find the right one. This car comes with 12 months Rego. Email me at [email protected] or 0403-327-527. Den
  4. Its really not that bad, but the first thing which ppl see is the front. I just paid 12months rego on it so I want to get rid of it quick instead of the car just sitting in my driveway. Oh, and i've seen them go in the trading post for around that price too.
  5. If you do find one the same colour then let me know! I've been waiting and waiting, but when ur after something it just doesn't want to pop up.
  6. Interesting, anyone else tried this out? So i guess the guy was full of crap and just trying to chop my price down further. Well, I hope this is the case. Cheers
  7. ok thanks guys. i think i'll try patch it up myself. i haven't posted the car in the for sale section as i figured just about everyone on the forums has a skyline But I will take some pics and put it in for pretty cheap maybe 10-11k. Cheers
  8. Hey guys, i'm trying to sell my car but because of the crack in the front bar and some scrapes there its making the car look like its in poor condition and is hard to sell. Is it worth fixing, or should I get a new front bar? Or should I try a dodgey and get some fibre glass kit and patch it myself? If anyone recommends a place to fix this for a fair price then let me know. Thanks
  9. Hey guys, Just wondering if someone could try the following: Start up your car Pop the bonnet and take off the oil cap Does your car then start to stutter and the revs go up and down like its going to stall? If someone could try this out and let me know that would be great because my car does that, and apparently it means that the engine has low compression. Dunno if thats true? I did try it on the other car and it was fine, didn't stutter at all. Thanks
  10. is the grill still for sale? pic to [email protected] if it is. thanks.
  11. still for sale? is it black or grey? looks black in the pics but sometimes its hard to tell from pics. thanks.
  12. Yep thats what I thought, the guys at Autobarn initially said they could get some in for around $40ish but then couldn't find the part number. So now I might see if i can get some from the wreckers. Nissan charge an arm and a leg for them. Cheers,
  13. Only need the boots for the tie rod ends to pass rwc, if its the whole kit then i will still take it if its cheap. Would like an aftermarket or stock type M front bar in grey for the R33. Email me at [email protected] I am in Melb. Thanks, Denny
  14. thanks predator, i did do a search for tie rod blah but it didnt return much. i've now found the post "replacing your steering rack boots!" in the tutorial section as suggested. Very helpful, I will be heading off to Repco on Tuesay. Cheers
  15. Hi Guys, I am trying to get a RWC for my car, but failed as the Tie rod end bust boots are broken. I have no idea about these. Can someone please tell me where to source these from and how to change it? Any part no's will greatly help. I need to have it replaced within 7 days otherwise I will get charged again for the RWC inspection. Nissan doesn't sell just the dust boot seperately. Thanks!
  16. guys this book is all good, you get buy one get one free at village cinemas, 20% off at autobarn etc. i get them from a different source but its the same book, all sorts of goodies!
  17. yes it has. oh gosh, that easy!!!!! thanks heap!!! i didn't realise i didn't even need to bring the car, thats a huge relief. sorry, one more question, if i were to sell the car to someone. would they then just bring the transfer papers with them and do the same thing? i was only going to register the car to sell it easier.
  18. Hi guys, Just wondering what they actually check when you goto vicroads to register your car? Will they check things such as how loud ur exhaust is? I am going to get my car registered again but i can't remember what they actually check at vicroads. A while back i know it was a fairly quick process. Thanks
  19. yep full credit to the cops, we shouldn't be bagging em all the time, well not too much anyways, i've found the engine# its on the passenger side, all matches up. i now need to somehow get some compliance plates for the car, hopefully vic roads can just pop some replacement ones on. then we're back on the road!
  20. sorry my mistake, i meant engine#, where abouts can i find that? i had a look the other night but couldn't see anything on either sides of the engine. cheers
  21. ooh that would explain it then, i thought there was some sort of ID on the engine as well. thanks for clarifying that!
  22. Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone can tell me where the VIN# is on the actual engine, not rego etc. I need to check whether mine matches up. Thanks
  23. thanks heartbrkr, i will have a look there and see if i can find it. hopefully nothing has been changed, i then just need to contact vicroads to see what i can do about the compliance plates.
  24. lol, mucs mate, u reckon the rego sticker would still be on???! i'm going to sell the skyline, its not the same anymore. i still luv em though!
  25. hey guys, i managed to pop the bonnet, they've stolen my compliance plates. i think i have to contact vic roads? also, can anyone tell me where the VIN# is located? i took a look earlier but couldn't find it? thanks
