talkin bout sydney drivers, wen i was up there, there were many crazy drivers. they always beeping the horn and stuff! they're lucky i wasn't on the road though as i didnt drive up

just checked the prices on that umart site, doesn't seem to be that cheap?? similar prices to melb. actually that MSY site is a fair bit cheaper.

munkey, the dodgy asian men are at the swap meets. most of em are from china. quite a few of the computer stores are owned by china man as well. i just went up to sydney last week, i didn't realise computer parts would b cheaper there else i would've looked around. went in that paddy's market, no computer stuff there. cheapest place i've found here is msy. their parts are cheap cheap, those guys must get em cheap from some supplier. take a look: www.msy.com.au i dunno how dodgy they are though, went there and the store is pretty small and stuff. i tried to bargain em and it didn't work and they didn't have my motherboard in stock so i left.

umm Jamezilla, if ur in melbourne, theres no need to get one from that ebbro site. i've bought a R34 calsonic GTR for around $40 from Big W. For more variety u can get the same thing at the hobby shop on lonsdale st. costs you from $50 - $60. still cheaper than $70.

hey ait just goto supercheapauto or something like that and buy the nulon brake cleaner and give it a spray. it definitely works.

Big W rocks i got my lil model from there, about $40 from memory. hobby shop on lonsdale st in city was selling it for about $55. couldn't believe that big w stocked these model cars. i still haven't gone around to building it though

lol. i noticed the same thing wen i went to msa. most of their cars have a kit on. even with the personal imports i'd only go with the more well known ones. recently in one of geoffs emails, it had something about dodgy importers, how they buy a crap car from the auction then tweak the K's, then say its a grade 4.0 or something and bring it down for you, making thousands of dollars in profit.

hey rs73, i was looking through the trading post last nite and saw an add for manual conversion kit for R33 GTS-T. $1700. I think with some bargaining you could take him to $1500. not sure exactly whats included, if you want i can find the add and pm the details. dunno how much labour would cost u.

i think you should just put up with it for a few more years if you can. else, sell it and buy a manual. too much hassles with the conversion. its a bit of a hassle to sell the car as well, as there are a lot of tyre kickers around who are time wasters, but you'll get a better price that way.

yer, i gotta admit, its heaps better for me coz i drive to doncaster exit so it doesn't bother me that theres less cars coming in, but if u actually enter on the bulleen entrance, the build up of traffic there at peak hr can get pretty bad.

speaking on the topic of merging lanes, has anyone tried going onto the eastern freeway from the bulleen rd entrance going towards springvale rd?? theres these gay sets of traffic lights there, and they turn green for like 1 sec!!!! then go red again, i reckon they're ridiculous. its 2 lanes and merges into 1 and then onto the freeway, u gotta hammer it down to get to 100 so that u can merge safely. so dumb.

Still available. Sorry if i caused any confusion, for catback system i'm looking at $300. It comes with 2 resonators which already cost $200 alone, then the piping the the muffler and is worth well over $300. No dints etc on the muffler, still very nice and shiny. So still up for grabs, if by next week its not sold i'm just going to keep it on my car

hey guys just got back home, driving on the eastern freeway from the springvale rd entrance going towards the city there was a crash. near the bends where the entrance starts, from what i could see it was a R33 skyline, hope its not anyone here and dat there were no serious injuries. must've lost it in the wet or something.

just went out and took a look, not enough room behind the bar for me to see where to plug the damn cable into. felt around and pulled off some lil rubber hose fing by accident and plugged it back in. dunno what it was. i think i give up

hey, just read this thread and realised that i have fog lights as well i actually have two cables coming out which which didnt connect to anything and looked like they connect to foglights but i didn't see any on the car so i tucked them away, silly me. i'm going to go and try see if i can connect them now.

theres actually 4 x R34's in boxhill!! i went past station st again, and sure enough there were two of em there, black one GT-T and silver one in front of it (GTR!) and then a few cars up another black GT. on the way up i was tailing the yellow GT-T. sooo many R34's in boxhill!!! i creamed my jocks. some dude on the st was taking pictures of the 34 GTR.

yep its on an angle, like the apexi n1 style. no, its not the 3a racing ones, they sound crap. i'll try and get hold of a digicam and take some pics. ur welcome to come and see it anytime.
