im not sure if its a mistake, but with the integra type R, it says "Power is now 108kw at the wheels, thanks to $30,000 of go-fast components" now that is a damn lot of $$$$$$ to spend to get 108kw at the wheels. i thought that the type R would have that much power normally. or are honda's that weak? hehe.

i got my copy of speed today! was reading about the red rx7 and gts-t when i came across "Both are coupes, both cost less than $30k..." where can u get a series 7, 97mdl rx7 for less than 30k?? or are they really that cheap now? that sounds damn cheap to me.

pod filter is sold. the stainless steel adapter is still up for grabs. it retails at autobarn for $54. i'm asking $40, its no different to a new one.

hey Ait u should take ur car to a performance specialist and get it serviced, change the spark plugs etc, it may fix the idling. i dunno about nissan though, i think they're just over priced. their services mainly involved inspecting, they dun actually do much and they charge u heaps.

im down if we're meeting up at nando's, its like 5mins from my place but seriously, its only like 20mins from the ct if u take the eastern freeway. and if its a cruise, i really wouldn't recommend cruising around the ct on a friday nite, u won't be getting outta 1st gear much.

damn, if only u were in melb. i'd sell my turtle to her for 15k. totally stock standard in terms of performance. aftermarket front kit, side skirts and rear wing. got all the japanese books, compliance papers etc. comes with alarm/immobiliser/shock sensor and vdo cd stacker. and nice looking carozzeria 6x9's in the back but they sound pretty crap

just wanted to know if the exhaust fits onto an r33? mite be able to pick up a 2nd hand one for cheap. im pretty sure it doesn't fit, or can it? thanks

hey guys, just wondering if anyone saw this advertisement in last weeks herald sun, or 2 weeks ago about a device which gives better fuel consumption. it was in the section where the cars are sold. from memory, i think it cost $60, not sure, i've got a pretty bad memory, but it was fairly cheap. i had a quick glimpse at it and then wen i remembered about it again the paper had already gone for paper recycling day. did anyone else see it? what sorta thing could do that for so cheap? im damn curious, coz if it does work, i know that i'd pay $60 for it.

it would've helped, but i already took it off and then came in and read it hehe. i wanted to remove it because i was hearing this rattling noise coming from it. it also comes from the passenger side door as well. its really been annoying for ages but i just haven't done anything about until now. it only started rattling after the alarm guy installed my alarm, so i figured the panels were a bit loose after he put em back on. i also have a clunking noise coming from the rear left which i can't work what it is. sounds like the jack is moving around but its not

thanks joe. already got it done. was a bit worried coz i didn't want to break any of the plastic, especially the part where it surrounds the controls for the windows etc. but in the end i got a bit fustrated and used more force and it came out. there is one screw behind the door handle cover, that cover was a biatch to remove until i realised what was holding it in. i was a bit surprised when i saw that i had some pretty decent looking Carrozeria pioneer speakers in there. weird, i think they were 6", in the back i have the same brand in 6 x 9's. and my sound is very avg. i have a vdo head unit in. dunno why it sounds so bad.

hey guys, just wondering how i remove the trimming for the drivers side door. i've removed 4 screws so far, and it still won't budge, i suspect theres a screw in where the door handle is, but i can't take the plastic surrounding off it. any ideas? thanks

damn, after all that work i couldn't find anything lose there... all there was was a cable which lead to the stacker and i sticky taped that down hehe. but it wasn't the cable making the noise, it sounds like some metal, sliding across wen i turn. oh, and i don't have a cetre seatbelt. after i unscrewed the two bolts i tried to lift the seat up and it wouldn't bulge, so i came back in the house and read this thread again and pulled out the big screw driver and got it done. next im going to take apart the inside door panels, ever since the bloody guy installed my alarm i've rattling all over the place coming from both doors. hope thats not too hard.

hmm i think i'll have to try and use this seat removal method. theres this loud clunking noise coming from the rear left everytime i take a corner. sounds like it kinda slides a bit, wen i enter the corner i hear it move and then wen i come out i can hear it move back. first i thought the jack at the back was lose, but the noise was still there after i secured it. so i figure it must be something between the backseat and the boot. not sure what it could be coz i've never removed the seat, but i'm assuming its something metal. any ideas?
