Hey guys, was hunting down a GTS4 rb20det, can't actually find one. Just wondering if it would be possiable to use a na bottomend motor from a GTS4, and run a decompressed head gasket, with my turbo head. Anyone know if a NA motor is as strong as a turbo'd rb20det? Hi guys, just pulled down my rb20 in my gts4 and had a check of the bore. The bore is pretty much beyond repair unless alot of oversizing is done to it. Now my problem is, its been hard finding a replacement gts4 rb20 motor for it, i have been told, but not too sure that i am able to use the gtst motor but there is a few things that need changing? I am just after the list of things that need changing to the gtst motor which will let me run it in my car if this theory is true. Thanks for any help in advanced.. Cheers

Hi guys, just recently bought a R32 GTS4 with standard suspension. I wanna get some coil overs for it. Just not too sure what sorta coilovers to get for it, weather i should be going for GTST or GTR parts for it... Any info would be greatly appreciated....

Did a comp test on the motor today, #1 is holding 50psi, which is not a very good sign, so its time for replacement pistons. gts4diehard: Cheers buddy, but ive got a spare rb20det block sitting here, gonna replace damaged pistons, put in new rings, and bearings also. Thanks for the help guys.... will let you's know how i got next weekend when it gets ripped apart... PS: I moved away from mitsubishi's hoping i wouldn't have to touch motors again... little did i know.. nissans are just as bad.. hehehe..jks..

And how did you's run on the 5 cylinders? Much smoke out of exhaust? Mine blows abit when u free rev it some times... the radiator israther bubbley..

Yeh, well i only just bought it, and now its running really bad...

Im not too sure, there was a bit of pinging involved im guessing. Im not too sure yet if its a ring land, but its suspected, as there is alot of oil getting straight into the bore, and getting burnt up causing a bit of smoke.
