i had the same thing i found sony ones have seperate antenna activate wire that only makes the anteanna go up when u listen to radio pioneer only have the amp activate whichi s shared with the antenna so the antenna goes up all the time. i just disconnected it. i got good radio with the antenna down somehow?

lol that's ridiculous feel sorry for u some alarms have auto arming which is the stupidest thing i ever heard and others have anti hijack. no idea maybe read through the manual?

haha i drove through a 25cm patch and a 40cm patch yesterday in the peak of the rain thank god i don't have any problems i was heading from work in port melbourne to home around glen waverley using the monash. farkkk was so damn slow took more than an hour. it's those inconsiderate bastards who wanna do 50kmh on the freeway there's always a handful which block everybody.

i went in today for a diagnostic coz my car always misfires. he suggested spark problem so i'll have to get onto that. while i was there my stock r33 made 140.1kw while stuttering lol. he said it wasn't a power run though or something like that. dunno wat that means? anyway attached a pic i took of the screen

hehe thx guys. ye i'll most probably take it back to the dealer to fix it. got no plans for it really i just wanna work out all the bugs first and get used to the thing! i'm still awed by the power the thing has i probably couldn't handle more at the moment. i'll eventually get sick of it later and want more but for now it's good!

I now have 2 skylines! (see pictures below) Both bought from a dealer in dandenong called power rd carsales. My previous car was a 33 gts25 the car i just got is a 33 gts25t. theres quite a bit of power difference between the 2 and man the noise! i love that turbo rb noise Wish i could say it's smooth and perfect but it's not at the moment. When i test drove it the engine was smooth on full throttle now it's misfiring at 4500+ rpm full throttle. i think he might have misaligned the CAS when he changed the timing belt. oh well i'll have a look tomorrow also does anyone know where to get outside door window rubbers? mine don't seal properly

i was actually planning on driving it up! i found the rta site (http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/rego_new.html) it says: "Second-hand vehicles currently or previously registered interstate To register a second-hand vehicle that is currently or was previously registered interstate, you will need to attend a motor registry in person and provide: Your interstate number plates – you’ll have to surrender your interstate plates before you’ll be given NSW plates." So if that is the case i assume that i don't have to do anything on the victoria side?? RTA handles refunding my rego and accepting the vic numberplates??

I'm selling my R33 to a buyer in NSW in the next month or 2 and need to know the procedure to transfer rego. Has anyone done this before? From what i can see so far all that has to be done is done in NSW. Just need to issue receipt then they get blue slip(rwc equiv) ,green slip and take it to RTA? Just wanna make sure i don't have to do anything in VIC before I go to NSW.

damn when i saw the title i thought someone put a turbofan on a skyline. (the engines on 737s etc) the idea is quite silly though. the power required to drive a compressor for a couple psi would be in the order of kW. you probably could get a motor that powerful but it'd be a huge waste of space and power. you would need another alternator to provide that power. to think of doing this with a 12v @ 2.3A (roughly 25W) motor is absurd. whoever that guy is must have no idea about engineering at all haha!

wats a timing belt kit? i just bought the timing belt from nissan for 80 bux
