  1. Engine cover from a 1998 R34 GT Neo. $50 ono Located Vic Park
  2. I wish to sell my 1998 R34 Skyline GTT, I've had this car since 2010 and it's been my daily however I now have a new kid coming and need a wagon! Very regretful sale. Well looked after with tasteful mods, always serviced at 5000km and never seen a track day. ---ENGINE---- - RB25DET with stock turbo - Front mount intercooler fitted - 211,000 km - a little high but always serviced reg and most components replaced or upgraded. - Turbosmart BOV - Nistuned Chipped - Running 13psi, tuned by Hyperdrive Malaga, 205kw - Serviced every 5000k Hyperdrive Malaga - 100k service performed early at 160,000km - Heavy duty clutch (installed at 190,000km at Hyperdrive Malaga) ---SUSPENSION AND EXHAUST--- - BC Racing Coilover Suspension, hard street setting (installed by WA Suspension) - R34 GTR wheels (some curb rash) - Rear fat 365 tyre size, front 345 size - Cannon exhaust installed, within sound requirements ---BODY--- - QM1 White paint - Nismo Front Bar - Wingless boot (no holes!) - Xenon R34 headlights (sells for $1000 each!) -- EXTRA STUFF --- - All car mods, including engine and suspension have been FULLY ENGINEERED. I was yellow stickered for dark tint 2 years ago and decided to get all permits to save any future hassle. Car will include full documentation on sale. - Aftermarket Turbo pressue gauge, mounted low under steering wheel --- SOME BAD POINTS --- - Body has suffered a few minor dings. Recently had a car tow-ball roll slowly back into the front bar in a shopping center. It took of a small bit of paint and put a tiny dent in the front. I had a paint shop mix up some colour match paint and I did a quick fix. See pics. - Small shopping trolley dent in passenger door - Small part of roof paint patched up - Passenger seat is a little dirty ---- With all the mods I've done, looking for $11,500 ono. No joy rides. Would consider trading for a clean Stagea or Legnum. Email [email protected]

  8. Looking to borrow a spare set of coilpacks for a day for R34 GTT (RB25DET) doesn't matter if they OEM or aftermarket, as long as are confirmed in working order, need to test for misfiring issue in my R34. Will compensate with 6 pack Cheers.
  9. Hi GTR_NUTZ thanks for your reply. It seems everyone is saying coil packs so I guess I need to go in that direction and buy either a set of new spitfires or OEM coilpacks. I guess I was naive thinking that the spitfires would never fail on me. Pretty sure it isnt a leaking hose/pipe as I have checked thoroughly. SKY338 I am not sure but I may try to get my hands on a spare AFM in any case to test.
  10. Hi guys thanks for the replies. My previous plugs had 0.9mm gap so were the new plugs. I took out the spit fires and put in a spare set of stock coils with no difference, either it's not the coils or plugs or both sets of coils were faulty. I will find another AFM to test, no idea if a damaged AFM produces symptoms like this.
  11. I sprayed it with a pump spray cleaning alcohol, didn't actually touch the components. Anyway I have replaced the spark plugs with no difference. I took it for a drive and it's worse. It seems to really drop power at high revs/boost in a sort of shuddering kind of way, and repeats this shuddering in "waves" as you keep your foot down. Th3 coilovers are spitfires so I didn't think they would damage easily?? Anyone know what his may be?
  12. Booked into workshop next month, I'm going to check the coil packs and spark plugs while I wait. It's getting worse now, holding down accelerator on full boost - the car literally lurches backwards from lack of power, and then splutters on idle briefly.

  14. Hi guys, I have a R34 GTT which was recently nistuned running 13psi on stock turbo with FMIC etc mods. The car ran great a week after tune, then I took it for a long run up to Lancelin and noticed some pretty bad misfire in high revs. While I was there I decided to clean the AFM gently with some rubbing alcohol. The misfire seems to have dissappeared however now the car has lost roughly half it's power on full boost past 3-4 rpm. The turbo spools to 13psi as normal, and there is a loud intake noise however roughly half the power it should. I assume if it was a boost leak it would splutter and give out black smoke however this is not the case. Curious to know if anyone knows if this is a typical symptom of a damaged AFM or something else like timing issue etc? Many thanks.

  16. Just had my sticker removed after 3 months + engineering permits etc. I felt like I had immunity the whole time, apart from the odd copper desperate for fines checking my rego to see if the sticker was expired.
  17. I wanted to keep my lockbar hence the permit, never suspected the HICAS light in the dash would give me grief, but I underestimated the douchebag-level from the inspectors.
  18. A couple of problems that that idea. Lock bar was on the car when purchased so I do not have a spare hicas. Also you cannot remove lock bar without replacing it with something Anyway I called up the main office and they agreed it was a shit decision so I can get that defect removed from the list.
  19. f**kwit of the year award @ Welshpool pits in WA (it seems it's not hard to win this award there). One defect I had was for "HICAS light to operate correctly" on my R34 as the HICAS was replaced with a lock bar and the dash light stayed on. I obtained permits for the lock bar, and assumed simply removing the bulb will clear the defect. Apparently not, f**kwit of the year exclaimed they still need to "operate correctly". Can someone please enlighten me how to make a HICAS light operate correctly with no HICAS on the car?
  20. Thanks Daan. I just got told this from the engineer guy: "Total suspension travel before modifications Current suspension travel after modifications. The two figures should show that the suspension was not lowered by more than 30% of the original." Still confused. Might take it to a suspension place for clarification.
