  1. Iphone stolen, tracked it on FindmyIphone and told the police - they are doing f*ck all. Who wants to help me get my phone back? Edit: Cops came around and got the GPS location - with any luck they'll find the bastards.
  2. Always wondered the laws on carrying weapons. If you have to put it in the boot it pretty much defeats the purpose of having a concealed weapon in the first place. I would probably opt for pepperspraying the theif in the face and then "defending yourself" with a cricket bat you just happened to have on the back seat.
  3. I don't think the cops got a hold of the map, I rocked up to the cruise on time and there wern't any maps left! Plus they cops dissapeared before the first meet point. The guy who got hoonedlawed in the 34 had invited me to the meet itself. I was confused as to why he didn't rock up to the first meetpoint. Mostly well behaved cruise apart from a white 33 who's accelerator must have got stuck and accidentally did a 100m skid.
  4. Hey man I just put some GTR wheels on my GTT and I can *just* fit 265's with rolled guards on the back. Not sure how much bigger you could squeeze in but I wouldn't want to anyway.
  5. Yeah I was amongst that.
  6. ^ Dude thats low! I just put some GTR rims on my GTT (thanks PewPew!), 235's on the front, 265's on the rear. Had to get the rear guards rolled by Des from autofxwa, did a great job.
  7. Black 34 with black rims, staff parking (top deck) Curtin Uni.
  8. Hey guys, Had the car at tyre and suspension shop and had to get a pair of Kazama castor rods installed (apparently it was bent) plus wheel alignment etc. The front right has come back to the center slightly but still not 100% and rubs slightly turning right corners as before (but not as bad). Forked out 300 for the castor rods, gonna take it somewhere else to see whats up.
  9. Yeah exactly like that minus the panda eyes. Saw it again near Curtin this monrning.
  10. Spotted a '09 GTR in Bentley a few minutes ago. And before I could say "What numbskull drives a new GTR around Bentley" I realised the bastard was driving a 350GT with a front bar that looks like a GTR.
  11. Is the double decker parking? That place is full before 9am but I found a park there today. Would be sweet picture opportunity
  12. Lol Curtin cruise. There would be a few cars I'd say. Curtin security would love it. Probably use their famous "box in car and call the cops" method.
  13. I'm a staff member at Curtin but I usually park my R34 on top of the double-decker parking bay next to the big water tank, in a corner away from dumbshit drivers. Haven't seen that GTR yet but walking to my office I saw a black R34 with SAU sticker, a white R33 and a white R34 N/a without a spoiler, all in the paid parking undercover.
  14. Edit: This is for a R34 GTT, should have mentioned that! Cheers for the suggestion fastjetjockey
  15. Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has done something similar and has some advice on how much work this will be to fix. Hit a curb at around 30kmph, hitting the front right first. Blew both front tyres which I replaced. However there are a few bigger issues from this incident: Front right wheel has moved back by ~1/2inch or more (see pic) Steering wheel slightly off center (to the left) whilst driving in a straight line Here are some pics to show you what I mean: I took have the wheel to have a closer look - not knowing what I was really looking at, it seems some parts have been moved back slightly - see pics: Anyone done something like this before? Is this gonna cost me an arm and a leg? Any insight will be appreciated.
  16. My boost cut didn't jump in until around the 13-14 psi level.
  17. Ok guys it's been sorted, I simply bypassed the valve near the throttle body completely and it has fixed the vacuum leak problem. The after-market gauge now shows a boost approximately 10-11psi and I think this should be OK. I believe the boost cut from the stock ECU should take care of spikes.
  18. Thanks for the help again guys. So it seems my boost controller setup is working fine and I have bypassed the 2 stage solenoid OK. The issue is just with my boost gauge setup. Can anyone tell me from the picture I supplied in my first post, that where I have tapped the vacuum lines for the aftermarket gauge in is correct, and if the broken hose from the valve nearby would cause the incorrect reading on the said gauge? I'm going to have a crack and solving this tonight. Also out of interest, when not on boost the aftermarket gauge reads quite low, towards -20 and I'm thinking that should be more like -10?
  19. Awesome. I'll plug up that hole and see if that fixes the vaccum leak.
  20. The stock gauge is in Kgcm2 and my aftermarket one is psi. I'm now pretty certain the aftermarket gauge isn't working properly. It may have something to do with broken valve highligted in picture #2 - thats in a similar area where I am feeding the vacuum tube to the aftermarket gauge. I think I may need a new one of those valves. The boost controller does work now though. I got the solenoid hoses mixed up - need to block the top one and remove the bottom completely. I can set the boost using the stock gauge which isn't entirely accurate however it's set at around 0.75 kgcm2 which is not too high.
  21. You might be right zebra. I did a few test runs on different boost settings and the stock gauge read 0.75kg on one trip and just over 1kg on another trip, while the aftermarket gauge read the same. Perhaps the way I have connected it is wrong.
  22. I've uploaded a couple of pics to show what I've done. First pic is the MBC setup: Also I noticed when installing the boost gauge, that one of the hoses wasn't even connected to the following valve in the pic, forget what it's called, VSV valve or something? Anyway it was never connected and I've only just noticed since purchasing the car. I can't reconnect it without getting a new one so I just clamped the hose. Wondering if this would cause any issues. See pic:
  23. Hey guys, A friend and I installed a Turbosmart Manual Boost Controller plus aftermarket boost gauge today on my R34 GTT Neo, and we've hit a bit of a problem and I'm not sure we've connected it right. So far I've installed the controller between the wastegate and intercooler hoses, and I currently have the lower solenoid hose blocked off. The top solenoid hose I've keep connected. At the moment it won't boost past approx 5 psi and with the controller wound to maximum boost it gets to 5-6psi and then (I think) the ECU chucks the sh!ts and applies a fuel cut. Is there a problem with the way I have connected everything? Many thanks in advance.
  24. Just an update. I had inspected the belts while I got a mate to cold start the car. All the belts were running fine but for a few seconds it seemed like they were all running slow or under load, then after 2-3 seconds it ran normal. It also didn't squeal this particular time.
