So what would be involved when buy these pistons....would u have ur engine bored or honed or something to fit these new pistons in? And what would the advantage be.....much more low down torque....etc...what would be so good about it? - Luke

Hey guys, I seen some where if u drop RB26 rods and crank into your car it should turn it in a 2.2litre RB20.....is this true, i think it is but im wondering will these just drop in with no other mods......and is it really worth the work and money for an extra .2 of a litre. Hey guys, I got a RB20DET in my silvia i have fuel pump, FMIC 500hp fuel pump etc...all the mods to able to run 12psi with no drama's. But i have a splutter / miss between gear change 2nd into 3rd then it goes fine only in that gear it does it.....and only on full throttle and its extremely annoying is bogs the car down....anyone got any idea's? - Luke

Hey guys, My mate has just got his r32 4 door anyways he needed new coilpacks as the original ones were stuffed so he dropped in some new splitfire ones and car is still playing up. Its not making any mis-fire noises at all so that would say that the fuel pump, coilpacks and sparkplugs should be fine. But its shuttering the whole time u drive it even when its not under full load...u can feel it like something is holding back....when under full load the car is accelerating so slow....when i put my foot half down on throttle thats as fast as his is on full throttle. Im thinking it could be the timing....what else could it be? - Luke

i have just installed a catch can as per this article. http://www.rb20det.com/fitting_an_oil_catch_tank.html I also have done a metal induction pipe from turbo to pod so theres no hole for the catch can to vent too. Now for some reason my car will stall on low revs? Im puzzled as to why? can some one help...i know there must be a vacume issue some where. Got a RB20DET silvia. - Luke

Yeah sorry...i believe they are 7.5 fronts and 8.5 rears...also the fit a skyline silvia rx7 everything these have a good offset unsure of it but they seem to fit everything. Cause we have tried them on everything....and they come off a r32 gtst. - Luke

Ok, Car drives fine....just pisses water everywhere when i turn her off out of block think its just the gasket that is broken so simple fix i hope....and theres no pressure in radiator hose which warrents that problem aswell. Will soon see. - Luke
