Hey all,
recently ive morphed my r32 from an rb20de to an rb20det. My car has a cat back 3" exhaust, FMIC and pod. Retaining the non-turbo gearbox, i've stumbled across some issues. The reason being retaining the non-turbo gearbox is due to the fact that i've had friends running the non-turbo gearbox on fairly modified 32's in which no crunching/soft pedalling was observed. However, after mounting my clutch and bleeding it, the pedal felt quiet soft (possibly softer than a hyundai). Taking it for a run, i noticed that i begins to slip in the 5-6K rev range which is expected for a standard clutch under the above listed mods. I haven't gone onto bleeding the clutch for the second time as i will do so after a few opinions have been gathered. So if anybody has has past experiences as such or can shed some light, that would be greatly appreciated.
I should also mention that there is a rattle coming from the gearbox when the clutch pedal is not depressed in which i believe is the thrust bearing (mustn't have greased it enough..?).
Thanks in advance
