I tried searching this up and couldn't find it. Just out of curiosity if there's any other way to tell if a r33 is a series 3. i know that the lights would be the xenon ones, seats and door trims have red stitching. Is there a way to uniquely distinguish a series 2 skyline that has series 3 features compare to the original factory series 3. Hope that makes sense -thanks.

Hey fellas didn't know where to post this so pardon me if it's in the wrong section. Well as the title stated tryina install an electric temp gauge and there seems to be one wire which i don't get which is the orange wiring from it. Yellow: lights/illumination Black: ground Red: +12v (power) Orange: 12v *RTN the orange wire is what i don't get it says anything that tap it into anything gives out 12v but like whenever i connect the orange it doesn't function properly. What the orange wire is meant to do is bring back the needle to 0 whenever you turn the car off. If someone could tell me where i could tap the wire into that would be great. *i tried reading the translation thingo on the net and the translated jap to english didn't seem to make much sense* -thanks.
