  1. Been thinking about dropping in some new valve springs while the turbo issue is being sorted., performance springs sell two kits one is rated for 9mm lift the other 10mm... Which kit should I be looking at to run in my setup with stock cams??
  2. so ive been running e85 for 9ish months now and its not uncommon for the car to sit full with E85 for 5-6 weeks at a time between starts. I drained the tank recently and checked over the fuel system for signs of corrision but i didn't find any abnormal wear... I cut into the filter and also a few hoses to be sure. How long is this "hose disintergration" process supposed to take lol Actually now that i think about it maybe E85 corrosion is what caused the cracks in my turbine wheel haha
  3. so got a reply back from them on ebay: It still works as there is high % of Inconel. If there is smoke, and then you need to start take care of this issue. Gonna push for a replacement cause im not really interested in putting a timebomb back on...
  4. Best to start by removing the rear cradle and diff assembly. Let us know when you have done this and we can give you the next step
  5. That pic is of the exhaust wheel and they don't make billet versions of those. The comp side looks brand new. T67-25G 20psi max, mainly street so nothing super intense. Emailed him earlier, will be interesting to see his reply.
  6. Best I could do with my iphone.. had a closer look today and you can feel it with your finger nail, almost every fin has a similar crack to this in the same place although the one in the pic was the biggest. Will send Mr kando an email and see what he thinks..
  7. thanks man ill pass that on... we used a flapper disc to take it back cause the first pass was rubbish. Fark all maybe 8000ks. May just be manufacturing marks but i don't remember seeing them when i put it on, will have a closer look tomorrow.
  8. Anyone had the rear off their Kando lately? Had mine off today and noticed what looked like tiny cracks in between some of the fins. I could not feel them with my finger but they didn't rub off either... Had some issues with melting silicon so copied simon and got a elbow welded on Mate just got a TIG and this was his first cast ally weld, not great haha..

  10. Great job man very neat! How did you go about changing both the cam cover breather barbs to the single outlet 90 degree ? do they just push out?

  12. I got a 4 door and im after a roof spoiler too but i know for sure the 2 door ones do not fit! Also for the record you have very bad taste....

  14. lol if you think that collector looks bad in the pic you should see it in person... when I get a chance Ill grab a pic of the flange with a straight edge across it to show the warp.

  17. Yeh its crazy people seem to think these td06 things are a new thing... I was trawling yahoo japan auctions for months before this thread looking for a genuine Trust SL2 or T67 rb25 kit then along came Simon pushing kando the great!
  18. This tells me you will never do it. Sooooooooooo many threads on the shit monsta/generic t3-t4 turbos they are a waste of time and even if it makes the power you will get rubbish power delivery. Hypergears and kandos are pretty cheap as far as im concerned and have been proven.
  19. Mine was ridiculous felt like it was running on 4 cylinders, lucky i only live 5ks from status but even then it still managed to stall 3 times in the short drive....

Oil: Penrite SIN 10-70 Useage: Looking pretty in the Garage mostly, needs to see the track but don't have the time right now. Lifespan: Ran stock turbo for 160000ks had the T67 on for about 5000ks/1 year now. Failure: battery went flat once , valve springs apparently show weakness after sustained revs but its not something I have noticed on the street. Comments: Would like to upgrade a few things to reach the limit of the turbo, might just wait and see how Simon goes with the cams first...
