  1. how much boost you running? i have a similar issue and i thought its just the stock ECU fuel cut or R&R, if i reset the ECU it will be fine for a while....

  3. the ecu will run different maps depending on temperature, if you unplug the 2 wire plug to the sensor on the plenum the ECU will assume a normal 80c temperature. might be something to try...

  9. on second thoughts i'm pretty sure when that spring goes you can't select reverse at all..... might be worth a look anyway
  10. on a gtr box you can do that spring in about 30 mins without removing the box! im pretty sure a rb20 box should be even easier. theres a little cover plate, if you take it out there's a mechanism and you will find the spring in there.

  13. i did a quick google and it seems to be an rb26 bored to 2770cc and claimed to rev to 10000rpm??

  17. just thinking about your problem do you still have standard injectors and regulator? an r32 ecu will also start the car, maybe try that if you want to help eliminate the ecu...
  18. im running an S2 ecu on my S1 engine, works fine. although i did have another S2 ECU that would start the car but it would stall when reved and ran a little rich but this ECU was faulty because consult would not connect to it.
  19. naa it was the controller a pipe had fallen of the solenoid.
  20. are you serious? the stock dump will flow 14 psi easy, my boost controller decided to give up one day and my stock turbo was hitting 25psi for a good 3-4 runs in 3rd, makes a different noise up at that level haha.
  21. what are you asking mate??? if the light just goes on and off randomly regardless of load its probably not knock.
  22. if u use the stagea engine you have to swap the front diff's over because of different ratio's i think.
  23. i usually put a jack under the front of the sump to tilt the engine back, probably a good idea to loosen engine mounts when you do this and be very careful not to put to much pressure on the sump cause they crack.
  24. well the first excuse is valid i guess, still weak but valid. second one is BS, if it wont make it any quicker to drive then how is an rb24 gonna make it quicker??? i do see your point with the wheel spin but i'd say this could be controlled with a good EBC like the jaycar IEBC.
