  1. I clamp like this. Usually use a pair, one opposite the other.
  2. How much you pay for freight on that Deen gear?
  3. What do you guys use to hold the segments in place while tacking? I use a pair of long nose locking pliers, works okay but curious to hear how others do it.
  4. Where did you buy them from?
  5. Lol everyone has a mate with a brother who says his cousin runs e85 and kills motors/fuel pumps/lines every other week.
  6. Apparently in south America where they run e100 a lot of cars have a small secondary tank filled with some solution that's used to aid in starting.
  7. From memory 8ga is 6mm2, Its enough for the 3 pumps, I'd go overkill and use 6-4ga just to be on the safe side as its a critical load. from the relays to the pumps 2.5mm2(14ga) is plenty.
  8. Are you running all 3 pumps off this single wire? A 3mm for each would be ok.
  9. If your gonna take it off to heat it up then just go and get some new ones, should be less than $1 for the 2 of them
  10. They are copper washers and yes its a good idea to replace them after every use. Sometimes you can heat them up and reuse without issue.
  11. Looking for a front driver side brake cailper for r33 GTST, will take a pair if your not interested in splitting. Preferably in Melb SE suburbs. PM ME!!
  12. Contact Japspeed about the tie rod ends, perhaps they are made to be used with their tie rods?
  13. Is this the VQ vs RB thread now? +1 VQ for me
  14. The majority of skylines on the road are in a similar or worse condition. If the paint is in that condition then its highly likely that the engine/drivetrain/suspension/brakes also need a ton of work. Would be ridiculously expensive to get it mint and if a mint car is what you want then its better to start with one.
  15. I think cars are most fun where you're pushing them to 110%. Driving point to point around suburbia my 150kw legnum is way more enjoyable than the 360kw skyline. Out in the hills and open country roads its a different story.
  16. Obviously he wants the flutterz bro
  17. Probably not relevant anymore but I was shocked at how bad the MPS handled, extremely bad under steer tendency.
  18. got a fuel pressure gauge?
  19. 33 is a more refined drive, however I think the biggest factor irrespective of the model will be the modifications done. With big mufflers its possible to end up with a quieter than stock 3" system. Another big factor will be the fuel pump which is not an issue for most because their exhausts are louder than the pumps. I think with enough dynamat, standard fuel pump setup and a well thought out exhaust either car will be suitable. If your not familiar with skylines i'd avoid auctions. Honestly the best place to buy one of these things is off another forum member, they are more likely to have kept up with maintenance and used quality gear. Sucks to hear about your eyes but like you said best to enjoy your vision while you can. Goodluck!
  20. sounds more like you got a blockage or stuffed injector.. changed the fuel filter? Is the ECU running the standard tune? What about BOV? You ain't gonna solve the issue with more pumps.
  21. Your not getting it man. Even if the stock wiring doesn't melt i can almost guarantee that there will a decent amount of voltage drop which is bad news for the walbros as they seem to die often if they don't get a healthy supply. If your looking at running 2 then you must have a lot of other work planned for the car so whats a few hours to run a new feed with a relay? For piece of mind don't you its better to do it properly?
  22. Nice! Can I trade in my Kando T67 for one of those lol
