  1. I did... Much easier than taking the head off lol You can avoid removing the plenum and exhaust manifold/turbo...
  2. Im after a new mid muffler, needs to be 3" into 2x 2.5" out... can get this http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/displayapplications.asp?partnumber=12198 around $200 shipped.. Any other suggestions? I have never used a magnaflow before, not sure if there any good.
  3. No it doesn't.... You can do it with head on but you need to pressurize the cylinder so the valve don't drop... Kent of a job!
  4. One of my old RB20's developed this problem, ran fine in that condition for 40000kms before the HG popped I always though it was worn Valve stem seals..
  5. Have you changed anything else? AFM etc?
  6. I just made a hole and screwed the thing in.. was good upto 35psi, ideally you would use alridite or something
  7. Its a tyre pump connected to a fitting in a PVC pipe cap, WD40 just so happened to be the right size to plug the other end of the pipe lol Can almost guarantee you will find a leak somewhere in your system if you hook one of these things up
  8. Made this up a while back.... Works great with some soapy water... you discover pretty quickly how rubbish those fat T-bolt clamps are..
  9. Which FPR are you using Artz? I need to get one..
  10. Has anyone considered adding a relay with heavier gauge cable to the start of the coilpack loom in an attempt to bump up the voltage??
  11. Getting close!!! just gotta make new exhaust, drop in walbro 416 and fit new injectors/rail. probably still take me a month or so lol
  12. I would have thought the lines running under car in a 33 would help a lot in regards to cooling the fuel...
  13. Mine has cracks but nothing that would cause a failure like Ke55pig had.
  14. wtf?? This is like saying "my fuse kept blowing so I replaced it with a nail" or "my computer kept crashing so i threw it out the window" Now all that shit that was clogging your pump filter is INSIDE YOUR PUMP/LINES AND f**kING THEM INTERNALLY.
  15. Massive heat in those areas, the sealer stuff just dries out and turns to dust which usuallly results in a leak... If all your flange faces are flat(check with straight edge) then the gaskets will seal fine.
  16. You should not be using sealer on any of those parts... Loose bolts is pretty standard unless you have something in place to prevent, i.e locking tabs, locking nuts etc.. you should really do a once over every now and then. agreed workshop sounds dodgy and I have never had work done that i was happy with hence why I do it all myself..
  17. Slighty OT but im wondering if anyone has done anything to bypass the stock plugs intank on the lid? I usually rewire the intank portion aswell as adding a relay and feed from the battery but it annoys me reusing the stock plugs and crusty old wiring to get throught the lid.
  18. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R33-GTST-Modulator-Fuel-Pump-Control-RB25-/280918681936?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item41680ee950 Maybe???
  19. Is your concern heating up the fuel or something else?
  20. Headfk job lol... man hypergear turbos are made for people like you! still a fair bit of mucking around with the TD06..
  21. How much are people paying for a complete flex tune?? not interested in doing it myself just curious..
  22. I was hoping you had a massive corn field or something
  23. I had a notchy rb25 box a while box that I ran vmx80 + g90 in and then swapped to shockproof, vmx80 + G90 felt much better.
  24. I have no idea how these guys are getting 12L/100 in my 5 years of daily driving rb20/25's I never once got better than 400ks to a tank most of the time it was 300-350, my 2.2L camry does 13l/100 at best lol
