Just fitted the genuwine nissan bush for the bottom end of the shifter, feels 100 times better, however still dont know how to fit the bannana bits, maybe my kit is really crap, but it sits good.

hey, there must be fuses under the hood, aboout 4-5 of the same slide in type as the fusebox inside the car, right near the big relays. mayb you just dont have any there, if not put some in

did you check the fuse box under the hood? check the 5 little fuses, one of them causes no dash lights from my experience

so u fitted the supplied white bit into the nissan original part and it all fits together??

hey, I have the 2 bannana bits and screws, i have the the square metail piece with 4 hole which is now unsecured, no idea how to use 2 bannana pieces with the square bit as it doesnt line up properly... what do u mean by "put them in a groove on the actual gearbox??

hey, currently installing a short shifter on my R33 gtst, having some trouble as the shifter is totally loose with nothing holding it down, what do u do with the factory 2 circlips after putting in the new shifter?? Desperate for some advice guys..

Anabolic, yea thats what I have been doing, starting it driving around the corner and waiting for a minute or two and then taking its easy till its fully warm, but to be honest i shoudnt have to do that, i feel terrorised and whenever i get into my car i have to look behind my shoulder kinda thing, its ridiculous! I've been thinking of going to the cops but somehow I feel that all thats gonna give me is a defect or EPA notice because its easier to queston my cars noise compared to dealing with a mental person. Yea when i pull in im idling and turn it straight off she really has no argument, her windows are on the main road which is never quiet.

Got a similar issue right now and its driving me nuts !!! Got a neighbour at my flats that is mentally sick, whenever I start my car up thats parked on the main road where her window is she comes out screaming or banging her windows and yelling! Once she ran out and actually hit my car twice just as i was taking off. I had a "civil" talk to her and she applogised etc but she is mental and she is still behaving the same... I know my car is around 100DB which is at like 5000rpm when they test it, its not loud on idle, although on cold start revs sit around 2000rpm and its a little loud for a few seconds I have no idea what to do and im scared that one day she'll actually damage the car... I dont even think insurance covers vandalisim if she ever does anything... Any advice guys??

hey, Do you mean a low pass filter on the amp? is it a switch a knob type of thing? I have a frequency adjustment for the rear..

When i fade the rears to either side both speakers are still playing crap, when centered they are playing crap but a little louder. on the amp there is a freguency adjustment but it does help much at all You can hardly hear any midrange and treble

OK, amp is a 4 channel coustic 4x50rms, used to run fronts off its 2 channels, no problems, rear was off the deck through factory wiring, Now i got off my ass and ran another set of RCAs through the car to amp the rear as well, when i amped the rears they sounded really bassy and crappy, when centred they were louder compared to when faded. Yes the fronts fade left and right correctly and so does the rear but it sound crappy. Yes the amp has 2 channels for front and 2 for rear, set of RCAs for front and rear. When i rewired one of the speakers and tryed connected directly to the amp, avoiding factory wiring it was still just as bad, the speaker must be the stuffed right?

Sorry, yes im using factory wiring, and the amp has a switch to use it either as 2ch or 4ch, its set to 4ch ofcourse, i have checked wiring and everything seems the right way.. since then i have ditched the factory wiring, rewired one of the speakers and still sounds really crappy, speakers are fusions like i said...hmmm

hey all, I just amped my rear speakers and they play like shit, when u fade the rear either way both speakers are playing, and when they are centred they just play a little louder, any idea what can be causing this? speakers are fusion coaxials... thanks

its a no name dvd unit, it seems faulty and im sending it back now...

Well yesterday I have connected the front running amp (RCA) and rear off the headunit and got no sound at all, have checked wiring, wiring in a skyline is easy to work with and I have used the wiring diagram off this forum which i have used on my last headunit. Today i will try hooking it up with minimal wires, no amp, just power , accessory ground and 2 speakers....
