hey guys, Today i have installed my new Car dvd player, everything works, it turns on and played a CD, but there is no sound coming from any of the speakers, i have checked all speaker wiring, played with sound setting on the unit and still no good. There is a "mute" wire coming from the headunit loom that im not sure what to do with, right now i have left it hanging unconnected, any ideas?? thanks!

with this attachment its something betweein pccchhh and the pitch u get with the fin, with attachment + plumback hose its sounds like a stock woosh

no not really

this is the plumb back attachment, you take out the fin from your ssqv and replace it with this, then you have something to attach the hose onto.

dont know how to tell, it fit my genuwine SSQV if that helps.

are you sure the bottle cap didnt collapse when u tightened the clamp around it? this may sound stupid but you have to get a stronger bottle cap that holds its shape when the clamp is tightened on it. Its what I did anyway.

I got the exhaust checkd, the guy banged it and rekons there is nothing wrong with it...hmmm What happened with you exhaust? whats a cat exhaust nut? u mean u had a bolt loose in your system or what?

would the exhaust manifold gasket be gone if the noise is not constant and only happen when the car runs no boost?

will put the BKR6YEA plugs back in...

link ecu, but the coilpacks didnt seem to hold up and there was other issues, so i went back to stock ecu for now and now i have this problem.

the tuner put in 0.6 plugs for a computer that was meant to be tuned along with higher 12 psi boost level. but in the end wasnt and the plugs stayed. How can the smaller gap prevent the car from boosting and what would that noise be?, and on the other hand it boost most of the time..

before the dyno run car had copper plugs pregapped to 0.8mm, for the dyno run the tuner put in new copper plugs and gapped them to 0.6mm As for the sound it can be anything but it seems definately related to the car not boosting because when the car goes hard like it should the sound isnt there

I have an R33 gtst, with mild mods, FMIC, pod, full exhaust and T piece boost controller My problem is that sometimes the car goes hard and the next minutes it doesnt boost at all and drives like shit, the boost gauges just goes to the "0" position and the car simply is NA, while this is happening there is a resonating/rattling sound coming from somewhere in the front of the engine, possibly turbo? Then a few moments later it boost to 10 psi like it should and goes hard The car was dynoed about 2 weeks ago and since then its been like that. Would it be something to do with the wastegate? If anyone can give me some advice I'd appreciate it. Thanks

yer i know, I'll try that when I relocate the AFM, atm i got a 90 Deg zinc pipe off the turbo with AFM at the end, sounds like a VL but the flutter is not as long as the VLs, so I guess running no AFM will help that going on for longer?

my stock bov leaked at 10.. mehh all cars are diff i guess, cbf arguing, this F*** thread is on dose pipes and soootututu sound recepies not bovs n leakages.. lol
