Im looking at buying a R33 privately off someone who is the first australian owner of the car since 3 months ago, what paper work will I need to get of that owner when purchasing it? eg compliance papers, import invoice?, car is registered right now. Also how do i make sure that the compliance plate on the car is legitimate? Any help would be appreciated, thanks !

Police is the last place you would go to get help with this sort of thing, for them its just "another" case and part of their everyday operations, its just another file on their "system" They dont investigate anything or sue anyojne unless u got hard evidence.... (eg. u found the car and need to recover it through the authorities) If you report it to the police all it means it will allow u to claim on insurance, and that suspicious cars that are pulled over or borught to attention are cross checked with the reported car...... they dont even require engine or chasis numbers in the police, report just rego etc...

Has anyone ever tested if you actually get 1L out of the pumps at the servos when it says 1L on the display? Im pretty sure that they would make sure we dont get anything over 1L.

I know exactly how u feel man, I have the same issue, the officer handling my case is never there when I come in and when i pass a message on I never get a phone call from him. Its like WTF are we paying in our taxes for ? They way they handled me and not try to help me at ALL makes me feel like Im living in the shittest country in the world. Hey, Well third party fire and theft covers theft up to $5000 usually, so after you would pay the excess of about $2000 u'd have $3000 given to u. Man police don't do anything, even when i came up to them with a lead, they basically told me they cant help me, they have no time to chase up the details of wat i told them, and dissmisevly told me that it wasn't my car that i had in mind without properly checking, basically speaking from their experience. So they just leave it to chance. I was even hanged up on once. Sux ey?? Anyone know how to change the title of my thread when it appears in the "view new posts" section? Hey, My car had no front mount, yea I think I know which car you're talking about, he has 18 inch advantek type rims and an after market intercooler on it, it is a rare one. The owner of that car knows my car, he's seen it at Noble park maccas. So i dont think that was my car.
