The cluster itself comes out after the dash in about 4 mins. 3 plugs at the back and 4 screws from recollection.
That can them be taken quickly inside from the heat
You can get to the dials then sevles in about 2 mins. But the placing of the white bits is... "fiddly" (F**king things)
oh..as a word of advice the speedo dial must be completly removed from the house (3 screws behind it) for the boost gauge white bit to go in)
And the tach/temp/fuel is the hardest.
Have fun!!
After putting my Guages into the car nearly 20 times.. (the white faces wouldn't lie flat)
I too agree they look REALLY good.
Werd to the duckman! - thanks Jas!
better late than never eh?
find any 'stray' ink carts still floating around in the car?
Looking forward to seeing your car haunting our neighbourhood...
Another point to note is it does take 10-14k's or so to learn after a reset
I reset my ECU at the drags once. Made not much difference.
But on the way home.. OMG!
Fastest it had been for months!
2 questions,
1) wouldn't the facia of the dash protect the light hitting the windscreen?
2) The dial shown have no boost gauge.(2nd post) Is that EXACTLY what their like?
I have done the ECU route.
I got the powerfc b4 the FMIC cam gears etc and love it.
Mind you that route was 10 X the price of yours .
Great price mate!
