I sorta had a similar. Whizzing down the freeway from Ocean reef, pass a motorbike cop stationary on the hard shoulder. By Whitfords he had caught up. (Had watched him approach.)) Knowing he's there i stay on 100. Then his bloody lights come on pulls me over and trys to bust me for doing 110! I say no... refuse to pay, go to court twice. once to organise a date for the 2nd?! On the day I present my RAC speedo check (was accurate) and say Yes i saw him catch up yes i knew my speed was 100kmh His "proof" was: Him: "did you pass those cars doing 95Kmh?" Me: Yes i did "well you must of been speeding then! Even the judge at this point said enough. waste of time. "dissmissed!" (actually alot more was said, but thats dramatical license for you)

I think he was just having a friendly dig rob but if you want to look at facts, why not? You said you avoided the signs and lights. lights plural. but only 1 light was out, so some light was there yes? Also what about your headlights? Were they on? Did they not light up the roundabout? Not even the signs around the roundabout you skillfully managed to avoid? Surly the headlights gave you enough warning? After all 70km’s is about 13M thinking Distance and 26M stopping for the average car. I’m sure Skylines would be a bit quicker. Granted there could be a lot of variables. dirt on road; camber; blind corner potholes etc. I know you were the only guy there but no one is here is an angel. ( I know I’ve seen most of you..but no halos ) I’m sorry for your loss and hope your ok as well as the car but if you were a bit spirited, just take the joke on the chin. I got the PFC's boost controiller for about $450 from nengun. Does the job fine and the commander unit can display and alter the boost level
