im using a 250 dollar manifold.. ill make sure ill let you know WHEN and IF mine cracks i know of a couple of people using them.. and they have not cracked in a couple of years of VERY hard driving.. willing to show me different ash?

come on man, u know the rb20 runs 6 cyls rather than 4 so that means SLIGHTLY quicker spool, also mixed with what the engine is built to do etc a 3071r will be MORE responsive on a rb25det and rb20 rather than the sr20, lets say.. equiped with cams? but personally i would do a 3071r with an external and .63 exhaust.. that would be pretty sweet.

gt3071r .63 exhaust should be pretty good.. if its good on a sr20 it will be pretty good on yours, just haveto deal with a bit of lag

just put on a low mount stainless manifold, can be picked up for 200 bucks or so

i have built a ford 4.0ltr motor out of a ba for school (trade school) to specs, measurements, tolenrences etc.. It wasnt that hard, quite simple.. But i am still a bit iffy about building my own motor and getting it to make and handle power.. Anyone able to clarify the differences? like how much more detail and how much harder it is to do?

i drove mine around for a couple of days with a pfc, z32 and 720cc injectors.. just hadto put the duty cycle low (around 70% or so on the pfc) then just take it easy while i bedded the clutch.. tuned the car.. perfect so far have done 4 track outings on the same set of plugs and their still perfect.

Yep thats me the mods were Turbo back exhaust, GTR cooler, Turbosmart boost controller, Apexi pod, STOCK ENGINE MANAGMENT SYSTEM AND INJECTORS AND AFM, Tomeii fuel pump, Exedy clutch, $50 tyres i baught 2nd hand from a tyre joint to pass rwc, a very good driver, Tein suspension (drift suspension, So stiff ass end) Any questions about me making 205rwkw just ask away its possible to make 200kw on stock ecu.. i have done it before Car also went 1.9 60 footer and 105mph Link here

iv seen it happen a bit to mine, got tuned on dyno, the tuner hooked his laptop up i took it for a hammer on the limiter something savage and very hard driving.. come back and 20 - 25 MAX.. at time i get some crap air or anything and knock may go to 60 for a split second.. had it checked over and is perfect.. the tune is perfect.. Also on my brothers 180 it went over 50 and it had a manifold gasket leak.. checked it over on the tune, was perfect, changed gasket.. highest hit was 20.. It could be noises, leaks, rattles that the knock sensor may pick up.
