but how realiable does the engine need to be to be running consistant 9.2 - 8.9's for years on end..
its not rocket science, anyone who knows how to build a good motor can build a motor, they will build it to last, its upto you to choose your tuner..
i know guys who have had their engines built by backyarders who do an awesome job, and they get them tuned by their choice of workshops, then your done...
john bresciani built pannic YEARS ago... and is still running to this day and he thrashes its balls off @ 2.2bar and 550kw, no problems
top fuelers and comp race cars are different on the other hand when those 3000hp engines are built to last that 6.99 seconds or less, they have a full pit crew on hand to rebuild or rebore or change the rooted piston before the next race, those engines dont need to last..
moral to my story.. an engine is an engine, how its tuned is a different story
