  1. ill give you the passanger seat and u give me 5k ontop? iv spent too much on my car to sell it off for anything under 18k after this turbo/suspension setup
  2. do a decent burnout... use tyres with a good sidewall.. something like a 225 with a 50 sidewall so u can deflate them or a killer compound 255 tyre.. which you already have.. take off with no more than 6,000rpm and go easy on the clutch dont dump it.. i ran 1.9 60 footer on 205/55R15 $50 dollar tyres i got from newlands rd 2nd hand tyres 13.1 1/4 with 205kw and a killer burnout.. Regardless... You need heat in ur tyres
  3. ill be at the next calder on the 29th.. was a shame hitting that barrier but ill be out again before the 33 comes off the road to get another turbo setup... love the track, very fast
  4. yeah im using a .63 housing.. end of the day i want around 340kw

  6. new update.... Next month my car will be off the road and the new turbo/plenum setup will be going on it.. still decided what to do with the plenum so ill leave it upto Rob at CREATD and what power the car will start off with... Hopefully around 270kw so i get the feel of it then around 300kw and ill leave it at that untill i get a twin plate later on So stay tuned and i will show progress pics and results when the time comes

so true check if theres one stuck in the mouth of your turbo
  8. na i did an engine change over.. That was engine alone it took me 2 hrs with me n 2 workmates doing it.. took me 20mins to have the gearbox out and tailshaft and exhaust.. but you can see its not hard, you just need the right tools and knowledge.. whats with everyone and having their own workshop "claims" when it comes to high powered record holding street cars? i mean seriously who gives a f**k... I didnt post those figures on page 1 to start a shit fight, i posted them to give an example of what level John Bresciani and Rob Iloski are on, they are the top when it comes to this tough high powered engines that last, no matter what their used for.
  9. easy john, easy.. i think people say "someone else built it" is because things have been said on ct that eddy rajab built the motor in pannic.. also miles has been at jpc before you started on it and u have owned it.. but i have worked with you before.. and you know very well how long i was locked in that boot!!!.. but in all seriousness i know you have built that motor and many others to date..

let it flutter its life out.. iv been runing mine on over 12 psi for over a year and a half now, iv been running it on 14 psi with no bov with this new engine, no prob, drift nights with breaks only to change rims, no probs, hard street driving, no probs
  11. knew i was right somewhere hey johnno

cracked exhaust manifold gasket? see if you have any broken studs
  13. brad we should have swapped... goodluck with the sale bloke
  14. im in need of new 245/40 17s on the back as they have just been delaminated thanks to my brother and his vicious drifting... i think nankangs will b ok yes? with 270+kw?
  15. wrong, they have built a few 10sec and quicker gtrs, they hold the record for fastest manual r33 gtst.. 10.6, fastest 1.8ltr gsr 10.8, but he has tuned and built a few cars that do track work, drift work and alot of street.. its whatever tickles the customers pickle really, and whatever is needed, they will do
  16. roy, i have known john for a while and i did work at bresciani a while back, and yes to pump out the power he did.. 32psi was pushed thru the turbo.. Al, john probably didnt, but roger debono's car is still running strong 450kw+ and street driven.. tery sakr.. 500kw+ and still going strong.. PLATNM 550kw+ and still going strong.. as i said, u dont have to have a jap or drift or track racing workshop to build a good engine
  17. who man who... talk to me on msn n we will c huh
  18. .63 exhaust on that one? man explain the missus what the 3540 can produce.. she will understand
  19. the R compound federals are really good iv head, their sort of a semi slick tyre
  20. feds are good, wudnt mind a set, but cost a bit
  21. i have hankook ventus sport k-104 or something.. killer grip on front.. 245/35 or 30 17s for 130 a tyre
  22. but how realiable does the engine need to be to be running consistant 9.2 - 8.9's for years on end.. its not rocket science, anyone who knows how to build a good motor can build a motor, they will build it to last, its upto you to choose your tuner.. i know guys who have had their engines built by backyarders who do an awesome job, and they get them tuned by their choice of workshops, then your done... john bresciani built pannic YEARS ago... and is still running to this day and he thrashes its balls off @ 2.2bar and 550kw, no problems top fuelers and comp race cars are different on the other hand when those 3000hp engines are built to last that 6.99 seconds or less, they have a full pit crew on hand to rebuild or rebore or change the rooted piston before the next race, those engines dont need to last.. moral to my story.. an engine is an engine, how its tuned is a different story
  23. RB's arnt hard to take out man, i had mine out in 2 hrs..
  24. i agree racepace is very good with rb's.. but what about bresciani racing? they have more rb30/25/26s than they have had hot dinners! same goes with CREATD they have built some decent high power rbs... all monsters to say the least...
