  2. yep worth the money, i baught it for 470, you can find them cheaper now. I am getting 209kw without any form of aftermarket ecu or injectors. I am getting pfc to replace the std box of poo.

Some upgrades have been done to my car including: Locked diff Cushion brass button xtreme (crap) clutch Greddy Profec B Spec 2 Metal intake pipe Exhaust modification Series 2 OEM bonnet (needs to be sprayed) CREATD Motorsports have been very helpful with answering all my questions and helping me out with fabricating the custom exhaust for me, they are also looking forward to me punching out some decent power in the next couple months. Rob is the man for any r33 gtst!! Future mods: Spray the damn bonnet TOP SECRET front bumper D-Spec (URAS) rims in black Stage 3 highflow (Slide) Apexi Power FC + Z32 afm The aim is around 250 - 260 rwkw, and all that will be used for street and drift Car now makes 209.5 rwkw on the msc performance dyno Creatd motorsports will also be doing my tuning and giving me advice when needed.   4. a friend of mine is using one on his r33, plain and simple, i can get his power with better response using a SLIDE highflow or a GCG highflow, but the gcg is the mother of all.
  5. my girlfriend got some of that "stupid girl" stuff at JB hifi, i know the guys there (archie anyway) and was quoted and been accepted an exchange for speakers. My girlfriend went in the next week to get everything done etc, whatever i organised, another guy there was treating her and her sister like bimbos and that they didnt know anything (they dont really but they were going off what i told them) after i spoke to the guy who was treating them like that, he later apologized and said he was wrong and he lost a customer. i also deal with alot of girls at work who come in with problems and its so easy to stooge them. Like "my car vibrates at speeds over 80km/h" (wheels out of balance) i can easily say its a wheel allignment and balance ~ 100 or so $$ which other service advisers do that to them, i say no its just your tyres are out of balance and it wont be much. "how much?" i say under 20bux.

  7. very very right ash, i dont have the cash for the gcg or i will go that one, or even get a 3040 externally gated and pump over 250kw. But i think the slide highflow is "alright" considdering its just a small upgrade, and not a permanent mod. Its something i want to have fun with then ill go the big mother setup. i definetely aggree that bass junkys car mumbo jumbo's all day and night and that the turbo he has will be a pretty aggressive piece of material. Having said i want to go for the slide highflow, it is better than the one i have now, and i want over 230rwkw and close to 250rwkw for now, as i will be drifting car with high revs it will be pretty good all in all.

  10. good point, hey if the car is a write off, the turbo is the last thing on your mind. Ill purchase this turbo when i do turn 18 (november 23) onwards, install, tune etc and let you know about the power i get. So far i have 209.5rwkw on 11.5 - 12psi. so about the bush bearings. When i turn the car off it hasto idle for around a minute or so? so the turbo can wind down? yes?
  11. i understand that there will be more of a chance because the quality in the slide highflow doesnt compare to lets say a garrett unit or a gcg unit. You pretty much get what you pay for. But anything that is better than a stock turbo is good
  12. i am going the STRAIGHT RB25 HIGHFLOW, which is the r33 housing. The r34 and vg30 are high hp rated because they have bigger housings etc, the straight r33 highflow is what i want, also 240 - 250 rwkw with good spool is my aim.
  13. not NO lag, MINIMAL lag, as in, i want to see full boost (roughly 16psi) before 3,500rpm and i want great consistancy. I know the slide highflow will deliver it, also i want the power to be a STRONG 240 or so kw. Good for the street and drift. paul, ofcourse the gcg highflow will be better, but for 800 or so, would you complain if the turbo didnt come side by side with a 1,000+ turbo? i will be getting the turbo and pfc by around start of december. I also need a new exhaust manifold gasket as mine is cracked, also will b replacing every stud and bolt on the exhaust side. Should be very sweet and juicy

  15. well a few updates, getting my centre muffler taken out and a 3" pipe put in, got my profec b spec II tuned.. thanks to me and my brother, pulls like a train on 11.5psi. and in dec or so im getting a pfc from performance wise, slide highflow, straight drop in injectors (whatever i can find) and hope for 240rwkw.
  16. hmm fair enough, looks like it will be the slide then a good tune with a pfc and 750cc injectors should see me 240 or so at the wheels also the cops wont be able to notice the turbo but they will hear my straight through 3" trust exhaust
  17. ahh alright fair enough, the vband flange and the wastegate tucked up into the side doesnt look really that good. So you think the slide straight rb25 highflow is the go? good for drift? and also will it be reliable, like will it hold together after a good run?
  18. yeah i was tossing up between kkr and straight rb25 highflow from slide, but i havnt heard of anyone with a slide making over 250rwkw, my aim is sorta 250 - 265, for drifting really. i want really quick spool and bags of power, 3rd gear drift really.
